The item is round, with a diameter of 4 1/2" without the handle, and has no short sides.
I only used it to make a single poached egg, which I did in the microwave for 30 to 40 seconds depending on the power of my microwave and my preferences. I'm not sure if it would work in a muffin or anything else, but I haven't tried it.
In most cases, each unit holds one egg, and each pack contains two.
I only used it to poach an egg, but I see no reason why it couldn't also be used to transport cream cheese and a bagel. Enjoy!

The truth about eggs cooked in the microwave is that they pretty much turn out the same no matter what method you use. This product is notable not for what it does with eggs in the microwave, but for what it does not do. It doesn't let the eggs stick to it, which I've used about a half-dozen times in the short time I've had it (I like eggs). It's easy to clean, and you can reuse it over and over. This is not the case with many of the things you try to cook eggs with, as many of you already know. It is possible that the eggs will adhere to them. The eggs have the potential to blow up. It's possible that the eggs won't fully cook. This cooks eggs to perfection and then cleans up in a flash. While I don't think two to a package is necessary, it works well and I believe it is.
The order arrived on time and in good shape. I used it to cook an egg, and it took less than a minute to finish. The problem was that the egg was stuck to the inside of the container (a lot). It took a lot of scraping to get it out. The Nordic egg cooker I bought a while ago works similarly to this one, but the egg does not adhere to it. This is a product that I would not recommend.
Simple to use and maintain. Delicious omelets can be made with this recipe. I was looking for a quick and easy way to prepare eggs during the week. This is exactly what I needed. Remember to scramble your eggs before putting them in the microwave because unbroken yolks can explode.
These egg makers were incredibly appealing to me. They made the best egg sandwiches I've ever had. I added cheese, bacon, chopped onion, or anything else you want, cooked for several minutes, and they came out perfect; the best part was that they fell right out of the holder onto a plate with nothing sticking to them. Cleaning up is a breeze. You'll want to experiment with the time and power of your microwave; I'm not in a hurry, so I've discovered that I prefer to cook at half power for a little longer rather than full power for a shorter time; at full power, I could hear it popping in the microwave. They still turned out fine and didn't make a mess because the top caught the splatters, but I prefer the way they baked at a lower temperature. A quick and easy breakfast sandwich that requires little cleanup. I would strongly suggest it!.
Using it is a breeze! These were purchased for my ten-year-old daughter, who had no trouble using them. The only thing that worries me is that after about 30-seconds in the microwave, they "explode. " It takes 40 seconds to complete. We followed the instructions and double-checked the microwave's wattage, but it still happens every time; it doesn't make a mess, but it makes a lot of noise, which scared her the first couple of times; )br>It's still a useful tool for quickly preparing eggs or assembling an egg sandwich!.
Like the majority of you, I was looking for a quick and easy breakfast option, and after reading other people's experiences with the product, here's how my first experience went. Others have said that they used a paper towel to rub olive oil on the bottom to keep it from sticking. I sprayed it with olive oil and let it dry. I cracked an egg into each, lightly chopped the yoke with a butter knife from the muffin cutting, and stirred for about 5 minutes. Only seven seconds have passed. Because one of the lids didn't fit properly, I covered it with a paper plate to prevent any potential explosions. I made both of them at the same time, using two eggs. Someone mentioned that they were successful with 1: I did an even 1: 1 ratio because I had jumbo eggs. There was only one pop at the start, and that was it. When they were finished, I noticed that the eggs had fluffed up evenly. As a bonus, the lid that had previously refused to seat properly was now properly seated. The issue has been resolved. The eggs easily slid out of the container and were quickly washed. The egg will not stick to the surface. After washing the lid, I double-checked that it fit much better. Figure one more time and I hope it will be 100%.
Really. He'd be the most effective spokesperson you've ever had. I can't tell you how many delicious breakfasts he's prepared for me with these.
I was excited to buy this because I'm always in a hurry in the mornings to make breakfast; it was quick and easy, though I wouldn't call it nonstick; I cooked for 1 minute and the bottoms of both were still mushy, so I scraped that off because I was afraid to cook any longer. In general, a great deal.
