Questions & Answers

Does it look like you put the most water for one egg and the least of it for 7 eggs? I do not understand what you mean! ?

It does not make sense - you are correct. If I am correct, you're referring to the cup included in the package. A different cooker (the SimpleTaste) also has the same problem - the measurement markings are incorrectly engraved. In your case, you will need more water and/or a longer cooking time for more eggs. For one egg, I have to use a 6 ounce cup. If you cook two eggs, you would need the 5 mark, and for one, you would need the 7 mark, etc. *br> I have to play around with the amount of water I use, but going by the cup you would overcook one egg and undercook seven. It might be best to fall somewhere in between.

There is a problem with my water measuring cup. I am so disappointed! Is there any way to calculate the number of gallons of water to use to boil seven ?

It is in CSV format and has two tables one in milliliters and one in tablespoons. Eggs, Hard, Medium, Soft,Eggs, Hard, Medium, Soft *br>7,24,33,75,7,"1 T, 1-" "1,7/8","2, 3/4","5 1/4","6.56." The five inch one-tailor is two inches tall Seven/8 t", Second, Second, Second, Fifth, and First I seven and eight out of four three-to-one four-to-one. It is $5,43. In this case, 0,4,"2 T, 3/8 T","2 T, 2-1/4" The 3/4-t" must be paired with the 5-t" to make two A fifth of an eighth of a thirty-fourth. I am 0.46. Three nine one. *br>2,36, 2,3,2,7/8, 3,3,3,6,6. If you can cook less than 7 eggs consistently, you may do so (i.e. What do you mean by not overdoing it)?

Even so, it appears you use more water to cook fewer eggs than the instructions indicate. One egg fill line versus seven eggs fill line is a huge difference.

Egg Genie is so much better
4/5

Until I owned Egg Genie, I had never cooked eggs. There are things you don't even realize you could use until you have them. As soon as my Genie stopped working, I was going to order another, but I stumbled upon this one first. My life is so much better now that This article will begin with why you need a cooker, and end with why this cooker is superior to the one from How many times have you struggled to peel an egg? How about spending five minutes removing flakes of shell at a time, only to end up with an egg that looks like it has already been eaten? I will never see you again, The answer to your question is here. In my quest for a successful egg timer, I tried vinegar and/or salt in the water, an ice bath after cooking, and a couple of different egg timers, all with varying levels Whenever I got an egg out of the Genie, I could always peel it. A cooker is absolutely necessary if you're going to cook an egg. I like poached eggs as well. Until now, I had never made them at home, but they are so easy to make in the oven! I love it! Eggs cooked this way are my new favorite way to eat them. In Hamilton Beach vs. Genie, Hamilton Beach won 13-3. I just think the HB is more attractive. It looks less like a plastic gadget and more like an appliance. In order to hatch the eggs, you don't have to pierce them. I don't know if that would have worked with the genie, but I didn't try because the instructions said to do it, and there was a piercer Sometimes the white of the egg would volcano out of the hole, so I don't skip that step. As a result, you have to scrape off the damaged part, leaving a misshapen egg. As far as I know, the coating is Though it is not true, you can clean it easier Hopefully, I'll be able to find bottled water to use. You can turn it on and off using the on/off button. Using the genie did not require you to plug it in or unplug it, however it did require you to prepare everything before it could turn on. (On either model) I omitted one star because the measuring cup is impossible to read, and have to be stored separately from the cooker.

The world is so close
3/5

It's Just a Matter of Two Design Flaws. As a tribute to my mom, I got this to mimic her own. When it comes to cooking eggs, it's perfect. There is one thing to ignore, however, and it's the design of the handle, especially on the poaching tray. A cylinder at the top of my mom's car (a car that is many decades old) looks like the shape of an inverted funnel cloud. The small area of contact between your fingers and the handle allows you to pick it up comfortably immediately after it's done and when the poached eggs are still perfectly cooked and ready for toast.
The Hamilton Beach model has large, clear plastic balls at the handles. The eggs are overcooked and are starting to get cold because of this large contact surface area you can either wait until it cools (and the eggs are overdone and starting to get cold) or you can peel and eat it right away. Pick it up with a paper towel, hotpad, or other tool, which won't allow you to adequately maneuver it to scoop the eggs out I also believe that asbestos fingers could be very dangerous as well, but I don't happen to have them. On top of that, the egg piercer's point lasted for exactly one egg. that, the material became too dull and was likely to crack. It's no big deal for me since I use a pick and awl, but if you don't have such a tool lying around, it might prove a challenge. The pros are The classic design has stood the test of time. The egg cooker cooks the eggs perfectly, every time. The buzzer is loud enough to be heard, yet not too loud that it can be The cons are The following *br A ball appears Although the shape of the handle on the poacher is cute, some users find it too hot. The following *br A measuring cup's egg piercing tip is plastic, so it can't be used to hold up against eggshells for a long time.

This is a great choice for a low-carb It is difficult to poach eggs in the poaching tray when you have a little bugger like this
5/5

I love Starbucks egg bites, but they are tremendously expensive. Add one tablespoon of cream cheese, a tablespoon of bacon bits, and a tablespoon or two of shredded cheese to two eggs. It doesn't hurt to add a bit of salt either. The perfect egg bites are made with this device. It is amazing. I love, love, love it. It has only been a couple of weeks since I purchased it, so I am not sure how durable it is. There is very little space on my kitchen counter for it as it is so small. Paper towels can be used to wipe it clean.

This didn't last for long
3/5

I was pretty pleased with it. While the price is low and it's small enough to keep in the office, I did not care for the lack of a timer and/or a ding when the eggs are ready. My possession of this device is less than 2 months old, and I use it about 2 or 3 times a week. Each week, you should do this three times. This basket appears to be rusted due to the element at the bottom of the basket, and the handle to lift it out has snapped Trying to call the support line, but it's been 22 minutes since I last called!.

The egg cooker you are about to buy does not work! Six eggs were perfectly cooked on the first use of the cooker
3/5

I turned it off after cooking the eggs the second time across, and it shocked me into a stupor when I turned it back on. It is dangerous to use this piece of equipment I would advise you not to.

My experience with this purchase was good
5/5

Although my mom was sceptical, I've found that this is an excellent egg cooker. My eggs are now the perfect medium soft, and I'm no longer wasting eggs that are too hard or too soft. The metal base burns a little after I take the eggs out, but once I wipe it down when cooled it seems to be fine.

Served on toast with butter, salt, and pepper, soft boiled eggs are perfect
5/5

When I was a child, my mom used to make me soft boiled eggs on toast with butter and salt and pepper. Those warm, fuzzy memories still flood back when I think about them. No matter how hard I try, I never seem to be able to boil eggs perfectly. In addition to making omelets and over-easy eggs, I can fry, scramble, hard boil, poach, and hard boil eggs. It’s hard for me to make my mother’s homemade apple pie or bake the cake my mother made from scratch. However, I am able to cook gourmet meals, bake homemade cakes, and make smooth, creamy cheesecake from scratch. I saw this item on sale, so I decided to purchase it. This seemed like a great idea, so I went ahead and tried The soft boiled eggs finally got made for me even though I'm 49 years old. The water cup line marks are hard to see at first, so I put on my glasses and got a sharpie to mark them. It was a great little gadget and I followed the instructions quite easily, and the eggs came out perfect. My lines on the water cup were clearly marked, so now I don't have any problems. Clean-up is a snap with this unit, and it's small enough to fit on the shelf next to my waffle maker in my cabinet. I think it's a nice little thing. The perfect boiled eggs from here are highly recommended.

I have updated HAZARDS FROM FIRE It's impossible to contact customer service
3/5

I have updated More than six months but didn't last that long. However, it is important to remember this I have trouble with the alert buzzer, it doesn't work anymore, it's intermittent, and it's almost nonexistent. In this way, the consumer is not alerted when all the water has been used, so the unit continues to cook. I also agree. Hamilton Beach Customer Service was unable to provide any response.

ORIGINAL In its own right, the device works fine. Has the ability to cook hard boiled eggs well. - The egg holder plate leaks when it is filled with liquid There isn't a big deal, but if it is next to paperwork, on a non-sealed counter or wherever, that is going to be an issue.
