There's something about this little doll that's so adorable It's awesome to have a dad like that. In spite of its tiny size, I can hard boil 7 eggs at once, and as long as they're medium to hard boiled and not too soft, they peel perfectly. This product has worked for me in the past. I had previously purchased the red one. When I accidentally broke the top of the machine I purchased a machine that didn't seem to be the same but was a different color- I like peaches. The one that I used today is different from the one I used yesterday. I dislike the lack of a top locking mechanism to secure the lid, and the fact that it does not make any sound to let me know when the eggs are done as I used to do with my previous machine. I was hoping to enjoy the red one more since it was so good. Considering the red machine I had before was clearly better / different, I think I will give this one away to goodwill and order the red one.

It was very disappointing to us for two important reasons when it arrived and I used it. In the first place, I expected the unit to turn frequently after it had completed the cook cycle. I was sitting less than 10 feet from the unit from which I was unable to see or hear the buzzer after the cooking cycle was complete. Despite being within earshot of the unit, I heard it going off once it had come to a full stop. The unit appeared to have been cooking for a very long time, it should have finished cooking by now, I put myself closer to it and as I leaned directly in front of it, I could hear a faint buzzing and the unit was still cooking even though the water had been removed! As for the product, I ended up returning it the same day I received it and instead chose to boil eggs on the stove to avoid standing over them to ensure they were turned off after they were done. In the end, I spent too much time, money and energy on this unit. We need to design it so that you can hear the buzzer when the eggs are finished cooking and that it automatically shuts off when the eggs are cooked. If they do not improve this item, don't waste your time or money ordering.
