Questions & Answers

Can you tell me if the poaching tray is ?

The poaching tray is made of I have yet to use it. My only hard boiled egg recipe so far is a hard boiled egg. Using it at least twice a week has never caused me any problems.

It is 17 minutes and I have set a timer Approximately one minute. The 22-inch wide screen is buzzed around Approximately one minute. Is that normal? My eggs were fine. [Would it be possible to have more space when I compose ?

I have never double checked the timer settings, but it seems to work well. I use the 16-second setting. For seven large hard boiled eggs, it took 17 minutes and were perfect. I'd set the timer to 17 minutes and not worry about whether or not it timed out exactly as it should. In the end, it's all about the Golden yellow eggs that are firm and do not contain green pigments.

Can you tell me how long it takes to poach an egg?

Until now, I have not taken advantage of that feature. You can adjust the poaching setting on the base, so I assume it can vary, as can be seen from the other 2 answers. According to personal taste, it probably varies. My main use of it is for hard boiled eggs, and the results are always satisfactory.

Timer is set to beep after 15 minutes, but it doesn't start beeping until after 10 minutes. Unlike hard boiled eggs, boiled eggs do not have a hard center. Why am I not doing this right?

The problem hasn't been an issue for me either. Whenever I use my timer, I set it between medium and high and it works fine. Are you filling the tank to the proper level with water? My guess is that it would beep earlier if the water dissipated so as not to burn. As for the rest, I am not sure what is going on. It could be worth a try to see what Steven Miller suggests, and if it does not work, then you can

I have used many egg cookers over the years, mainly the cuisinart
4/5

I have eaten softboiled eggs every morning, so I was aware of the importance of the product. While I feel it is the best one I've tried, I am still not completely Despite the possibility of the microwave cooker in the future, I recommend this recipe over any other. What is the best egg cooker for me? The manner in which you cook eggs in a pot on a stove is up to your discretion. A cooker like this or any other does not have any magic powers. My experience with egg cookers goes back many years because I want to make softboiled eggs every day that turn out perfectly without fuss or work on my part. To me, it's the main benefit of an egg cooker. You can boil eggs on the stove for a batch every now and then if all you'd like to do is make a batch. In exchange for consistency, speed, and convenience, these devices are expensive and take up a lot of space on the counter. What do you think of this egg cooker? Should I get it? To understand how this egg cooker works, you must first know that it does things differently than Almost every other model on the market (including the Cuisinart, which I used for years) operates in the same way, as follows The thing just boils until it runs out of water after you put a certain amount of water in it. The amount of water you put in determines how long it takes to cook. This means you need a special container with all sorts of confusing markings on it, and you need to get the level of the water exactly right or your cook time will vary from day to day. There are a lot of reasons why this is a big pain make first thing in the morning, 2) the cook time is always different from what the manufacturer estimates, 3) you must adjust the water level based on the size of the eggs, etc. etc. This Cook times are controlled by means of a slider that can be moved from 1 to 60 minutes. It is okay to leave the slider in the same spot every day, as the cook time will not change. It's all done quickly and without a lot of fuss. You can slide the unit higher if the egg is larger than normal, lower if the egg is smaller, etc. Therefore, this unit can consistently produce the same Also, the handle on this one is better than the one on the Cuisinart. I tried with one hand to open the Cuisinart and got a burning sensation on my finger. Taking note of the lesson. Can't we get five stars instead? Including my current one, I've had mechanical problems with two of these over the years. When the unit first started, the unit would boil water for the specified amount of time, and then the alarm would sound. Now, what happens is that it boils for a few minutes, then stops boiling for no apparent reason, Because my eggs are sitting in hot steam, they are still cooking, but something is not working correctly.
When the one I have now breaks, I will buy one of those microwave ones. It incorporates a container in which you put the eggs and add water then you microwave the whole thing. I have not yet tried it, but I think it is even more simple and effective.

A good time was had by all
3/5

As a result, I made the decision to pay a higher price for this egg cooker than I otherwise would have. I thought I'd end up getting a similar quality by choosing one of the cheaper options. Although it did not always work properly, it was a great egg cooker, and I used it almost every single day when it did work. The problem, however, has just suddenly stopped working a month after it was purchased. September 23 was the date when I bought it. On today (October 30), it came to a complete halt. This did not stop working because I scratched it, dropped it, or did anything else to it. The return period has been less than a week. In short, it is a good thing that will last for a while, but it is a piece of junk that might malfunction after its return policy expires.

Fantastic, thanks a lot! The hole in a hardboiled egg
5/5

You can't go wrong with this egg cooker. Before deciding on any of them, I researched all of them thoroughly. When you make a hard-boiled egg in this cooker, you don't have to poke a hole in the egg before doing so (which you do with a lot of When the eggs are cooked, they rarely crack. A bowl of ice water is ready and as soon as the hard-boiled eggs are done (you'll hear a beep that won't stop until it has been switched off), I take them out and immediately drop them in the ice bath to stop Once we have dried them off and put them in the fridge, I submerge them in ice water for about 10 minutes. It is possible to store eggs in the refrigerator for up to a month. This is what I came up with My egg cooker allows me to boil 14 eggs at a time, then eat them one at a time. Other egg cookers require you to poke a hole in each egg once it is boiled. I'm concerned they won't keep for This cooker has also been used to cook poached eggs with cheese, omelettes, and scrambled eggs. I think it is absolutely wonderful. It is easier to wash the plastic tray for the eggs than other brands that are made of clean the trays easily by just dumping the egg shells into a sink of hot, soapy water as soon as I remove my eggs. In my house, after I clean a mug in the sink by hand, I always put it through the dishwasher to make sure it's really Filling the water collection compartment is done via a fill line. When you cook, make sure the water does not go above the fill line so that there is no water leakage onto your countertop. You run the risk of that if you overfill it.

This is a difficult bag to handle
3/5

I don't like how it is handled. This lid is only intended for using with trays it slides off the The hotter it gets, the more dangerous it becomes. Second time we've used this style and brand. Due to its compact size and the fact that the last one lasted for many years, we decided to get another one. I am not happy with the design that has changed since I first saw it. A single handle is present, but it isn't very useful since the unit is too heavy to be handled by one person. After using the unit, the unit will be quite hot and will contain hot water, which is quite dangerous to carry. Despite what the lid looks like, the base is not seated properly. It can now fit into an egg tray which is very convenient for carrying. All three pieces lock in between the base and the lid so you don't have to separate them. It is to be noted that the faucet lid will not fit on the unit while the egg tray is being washed. When it is not glued to the base, the item slides around and falls off. As they are unable to be carried together without two hands, unless hot pads are used, you have to carry them with two hands. As it dries quickly this way, I prefer to empty the water from the base while it is still hot. This isn't different either, but it can be a problem to remove the lid when the eggs are done. The inadequate handle enabled me to remove the lid by rolling it from one side to the other and flipping it over so I wouldn't be burned with steam. You should then hold it in order to keep the hot water inside it from spilling through the vent hole, and carefully place it on something to drain. While I waited too long to return this cooker, I won't purchase another of this design in the future. For the purposes of safety, I prefer it if handling it while hot poses too many design challenges because it is inexpensive and compact.
