This year's fountain operated just as well as the last, and about twenty kids and 15 adults consumed 4 pounds of chocolate. I am so glad I paid for it! I bought this chocolate fountain to use at my daughter's 8th birthday party (The Lion King theme). Among the kids and adults alike, it proved to be a great hit! Due to the fact that I did not test the method first and I did not want to waste chocolate or deal with the clean up, I was nervous on party day. I found the setup to be very simple. The chocolate I used is the Sephra brand that does not require oil to be added. Also, it was very easy to use, you just microwaved the bag, then massaged it and repeated until it became For 4 pounds of chocolate, I heated the chocolate fountain for about five minutes, and then melted it and massaged it for about ten minutes. Turning it on and dropping the water in was easy. I burped it to get it to cover properly. It flowed but didn't cover well. It is as easy as turning it off, letting it cool for 20 seconds and turning (As seen in the picture I posted) It flowed beautifully after that. The fountain can hold up to 4 lbs of chocolate. Please note that there is a minimum weight requirement of 3 lbs of chocolate. The 4 pounds of food lasted for about 50 people (about half of them kids), so it was perfect. After I dumped the water from the fountain, there was still a little bit of water left There is still 3/4 lb of weight remaining. About 3 p. m. , I turned on the fountain I went off about 7 and landed at 1530. I did not have to perform any maintenance on it the entire time I used it. I did find that it did not flow as smoothly once some of the chocolate had been eaten but that was just to be expected and it worked just fine. I dumped in two apple slices in melted chocolate but that didn't appear to bother it at all. wasn't looking forward to cleaning this up, but it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Choosing not to save any chocolate seemed unsanitary to me since food had been dipped in it (and probably kids' hands). During clean up, I would recommend putting on some gloves in order not to get chocolate all over your hands. In order to pull the ropes out and pull the augur out, I used gloves. The process was just a bit tricky since it was slick, but I worked with someone who helped me hold on to the base while I pulled. To get all the chocolate off, I wiped it away with a paper towel (didn't want it in my pipes) and rinsed it under running These parts can be washed in the dishwasher and were easy to assemble. As I emptied the remainder of the chocolate from its base, I rolled it up and stuffed it in a trash bag along with the plastic disposable tablecloth it was sitting on. Paper towels were used to wipe out the chocolate, then a wet cloth was used to clean it up. My estimation is that clean up and disassembly took about 20 minutes. Thanks to that I was able to give my kids a lot of joy! In addition to being concerned about the weather, I also had concerns about it being too hot around kids. Chocolate in the fountain is kept warm but not too hot, and the base is kept from getting too hot. This is an awesome program that I can't wait to use.

I was instantly able to tell when I started opening the box that it was an unpackaged I couldn't figure out how to do it, so I turned to Google for help. It all seemed to have gone well I was able to melt the chocolate smoothly and easily. And then the moment everyone was waiting for finally arrived. The fountain has been turned on. I only saw the fountain turn into a sprinkler, sending chocolate flying everywhere! There was blood on the floor, on the walls, on the bystanders and on the pictures. In order to use the fountain at school functions, we purchased it for our parent organization. Our attention was drawn to pieces of the curtain that were unsecured. Last thing we added was 2 pounds of the remaining chocolate which the facility melted for us in their kitchen in the evening and we added it to be sure we had enough. It was easy to clean the machine once it was at home (take one plastic garbage bag to hold the "chocolate" In the car, I have a shelf for any leftover chocolate that needs to be thrown away, and another one for any leftover parts. The sink should not be used to dispose of it). There is a stainless steel base that screws off of the bottom of the fountain, so the machine can be cleaned without getting water inside. The plastic parts can be put in the dishwasher as well. In order to put them in the dishwasher, I soaked them in hot soapy water and rinsing them afterwards. In comparison to the rental machine we used last year, this machine was better and only cost a few dollars more! This purchase has been a pleasant experience for us. Tips for beginners If you are not placing the device on a counter with an electrical outlet very close by, you will need an extension cord. Despite being short, the machine itself does not have a long cord.

It was a great hit at our latest family gathering and we agree it was a much better quality machine than the one we initially purchased from a different manufacturer. By the end of the day, buying this model is a better choice than one made by someone else It would be quite costly to purchase the fountain in the beginning, albeit a lesser quality one, after which it would be possible to buy it You need to be prepared to achieve the results you desire during your hunt As a group. This chocolate fountain holds 4 pounds of chocolate for a whole lot of dipping. We used Sephra's premium milk chocolate for this project, which worked well in the machine as well as tasted great. If you feel you need one, I would advise you not to get one that is bigger.
