I used it for 5 hours, but when I wasn't using it, I turned it off, then turned it right on heat for 3 minutes, then turned it back on and added more chocolate. I was prepared because I had an extra 8 pound of Wilton. It's so nice and smooth. I adored it.
Yes, the motor is loud, but it becomes quieter once it is filled.
Yes, I do require it.
Yes, absolutely! That's hilarious that we did it just now! It works great as long as the sauce isn't too thick.

Why? Pros: Cons:br>br>It appears to be attractive. br>br>
- The volume is insane. I saw that on here and thought it couldn't be that bad; after all, this is literally power tool loud. I'd gladly pay more for a quieter motor because it detracted significantly from the atmosphere of our event. We had to turn up the volume on the music to drown out the obnoxious noise coming from this thing, but nothing worked.
- There are no assembly instructions. "Parts and assembly," according to the booklet index, but only the parts were included. Although it was straightforward, having step-by-step instructions would have saved time. step-by-step instructions, particularly if you're pressed for time. Notes: br>br>
- You can't just throw some chocolate in here and call it a day. It claims that heating the chocolate to a temperature where it will melt will warp the components. You'll need to melt the chocolate first, and it'll be a mess to dump into this.
- Most chocolate requires oil to achieve the right consistency for this type of device, so check to see if yours does or if you need to get some before starting your event.
Fantastic / Fantastic / Fantastic / Fantastic / Fantastic / Fantastic / Fantastic /.
The plastic cup assembly is insane, and it's quite noisy once it gets going. Allowing the chocolate to fill the tube first, then inserting the swirling mechanism to coat the sound, was my suggestion. br>br>I'm keeping it because it works really well and isn't like any other chocolate machine I've seen. br>br>Update: I broke one trying to remove it to clean it because the plastic is extremely cheap and fragile. I'll contact them to see if they can send me another. I'll give you the latest information.
It's not difficult to put together this lovely fountain, but make sure you snap all of the pieces together properly. This fountain was purchased for a Christmas party and was used for three different occasions. It worked perfectly for 8 hours. It's best to preheat the machine and melt the chocolate in the microwave for 10 to 20 minutes before pouring it into the fountain. The chocolate I used was from Sephra, and it melted beautifully and tasted fantastic. Thank you for making it. I was hesitant to order because of the negative reviews, but I'm glad I did. To be honest, I don't think it's very simple to clean. The fountain is simple to disassemble and clean; the bottom bowl, on the other hand, is a little more difficult. Otherwise, it's fantastic.
Because the benefits and drawbacks were equal, I gave this product three stars. This was used at a bridal shower for 300 people in a large hall. This was set up in the opposite corner of the hall from where I was sitting, and I could hear it over the music and people talking from where I was sitting. I believe it became louder as the chocolate supply dwindled. On the bright side, it was attractive, and everyone thought it was the coolest thing they had ever seen. There were about 35 people in the shower, so I doubt many people were bothered by the noise. I didn't have to refill the chocolate because I used the entire 2 pound bag; it was enough for everyone to have a few sticks. Because the shipping would have taken too long, I ended up buying chocolate at my local Joann fabrics store. Wilton Chocolate Pro melting wafers were used for this project. Let me tell you, it was SO good that I wanted to eat it with a spoon! The instructions for the fountain state that oil should be added to the chocolate, but I didn't need to do so with the kind I bought. It had a silky smooth texture to it. Finally, before pouring the chocolate into the fountain, I melted it in my crockpot on low for about an hour. If you have access to one, you could melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, but it must be melted first before it can be used in the fountain. I'd use it again in general.
I bought this for a cheese fountain, and I screwed up the sauce by making it too thick. That was entirely my fault. If you're going to use it to make cheese, make sure it's REALLY RUNNY RUNNY RUNNY RUNNY RUNNY RUNNY RUNNY RUNNY For the reason that The bottom pot does not remain as hot as I had hoped. It was only kept warm for the time being. So the hot cheese cools down and thickens, causing everything to back up and cool down to the point where it's all just a hard blob. I believe you could get this fountain to do cheese if you made it really thin and preheated the base for a solid 20 minutes first. I haven't tried chocolate yet, but I'm guessing it'll be the same. Thin it out a little more than you think you'll need and preheat the base thoroughly.
In comparison to a'regular' fountain, this fountain costs significantly less. It wasn't worth it, in my opinion. This thing made such a ridiculous amount of noise! I let it run for three hours, and while the chocolate flowed nicely, the scoop-like cups were stuck with hard chocolate. You'd think that all of the small scoops would warm up and keep the 'flow' going. Nope. Sorry, but I can only give it three stars. It appeared to be quite nice. That's all I've got to say on the subject.
I used a boiling hot pot of water, a saucepan on top of that, and poured in the chocolate chips to keep the chocolate warm the entire time. They began to melt almost instantly, so I added some oil to keep it from becoming too thick for the fountain. I continued to stir until I felt it was thin enough to be poured into the fountain. It's been used at every event we've hosted since I purchased it. People in my family who aren't particularly fond of chocolate were constantly circling the fountain. Strawberry, marshmallows, pretzels, pineapples, and rice Krispy treats have all been used in this recipe. Fantastic work!.
