I have no idea what "four count bags" means because of my "poor" English. Each box contains four bags, for a total of 48 bags when 12 boxes are used. I took "contents as described" to mean four bags in a box when I wrote "Contents as described" in my review. I knew each box contained four bags because I had previously used them. I apologize if my review was misleading.br>Here's what Holly had to say in her review: "I bought these because they said 4 count on the package. There are four liners in each box, not one. "The "4 count" was interpreted differently in this case, but I'm not sure what Holly meant by "4 count." What exactly does "4 count bags" imply, in your opinion?
I have two oval crock pots, one with a capacity of four quarts and the other with a capacity of four quarts. These liners fit both a 5 quart and a 10 quart container, despite the fact that the box says they fit up to an 8 quart container.
I've never used it with a pressure cooker before. However, I do not recommend using it in a pressure cooker because as the pressure rises above atmospheric pressure, the boiling temperature rises as well. I don't believe there is any material degradation as a result of the high pressure on the thin plastic sheet.
Although there is no information on the label, the Reynolds website claims that they are bpa-free. For more information, go to www. reynolds. I used the liner to prepare my crockpot meal the night before, twisted the top of the liner and secured it with a chip clip, and then simply placed it into the crockpot the next morning! Because my mornings are hectic with a 4 month old and a 4 year old, doing all of the prep work in the liner at night was a lifesaver. I tried doing this before with the entire ceramic bowl of the crockpot, but (a) it took up a lot of space, and (b) my ceramic bowl cracked from being transferred from a cold fridge to the crockpot's heating element. According to the package, it can be used with slowcookers with a capacity of 3 to 6 quarts. 5 quarts, round and oval. I use the liners with the following items: Crock- SCCPVL610 SCCPVL610 SCCPVL610 SCCPVL610 SC S 6- Stainless Steel Quart Programmable Cook and Carry Oval Slow Cooker with Digital Timer.
I'm so glad I took the chance! I used one to cook a whole chicken, then filled it with water to make stock once we were done eating it. After I dipped the stock and bones out of it, I simply gathered the liner at the top and threw it away. The stove was immaculately clean. I also cooked the chicken for 8 hours, so the liner was able to withstand 23 hours of cooking without ripping. I'm very happy with them and will continue to use them whenever I use my slow cooker.
procedure to be followed Okay, so these aren't the most environmentally friendly products, but I suppose you could argue that you'll save water by not having to clean the crock pot bowl as often. They have, on the other hand, greatly simplified the cleaning process. That's the result of using the slow cooker, and it's exactly what I was looking for. I was concerned that melted plastic might be found in my food, but after dozens of uses (not the same one, of course! ), there was no evidence of this. This has never been a problem in the past. Leakage has been a problem in the past. br>br> They may or may not leak at all. They do leak a little from time to time. They used to leak a lot of information. I'm not sure if they get rips or what, but they've always leaked for me. I think I'm in my fifties. That's a total of 50. When they do leak, it's usually only a small amount and it's easy to clean up. Even if they don't appear to have leaked, clean-up is still a breeze, requiring only a rinse and wipe.
I'll never cook without one in my slow cooker again! I've been using these for two years and it never ceases to amaze me how much easier cleanup has become. I'm no longer concerned about having to clean crusty sauce off the slow cooker's bottom or with things sticking to the slow cooker's bottom. Now all I have to do is toss in one of these convenient bags and voila! Cooking time is unaffected, and cleanup is simple. Simply pull the bag out and throw it away and you're on your way to a clean slow cooker. br>br>Some leaking from the bag into the slow cooker will occur from time to time, especially after a longer cook time with liquids still present. But, at the very least, it's simple to clean up!.
This was a disaster. They were purchased for use in my slow cooker. They would burn onto the crockpot every time I used them (on low heat), and the crockpot would rip as I was removing it. a total disaster! these are not to be purchased.
I purchased this product with my mini crock pot, and I can tell you right now that these bags are completely useless. I recently wrote a review for my mini crock pot, and the mini crock pot is fantastic. I would not recommend using these bags; instead, use your Crock-Pot. Save the $3 on these bags and buy yourself a nice good sponge because you'll need it to clean the burnt on stuff on the mini crock pot because these bags will leave it's just a hassle extra work it has left food at the bottom even with a spoon I had to struggle getting out all the food and when trying to take the bag out with the finished food inside it it spilled all over the place I lost half my stew twice These bags are useless, so save your money and buy a good sponge to clean out your Crock-Pot. Because these bags don't help at all, I've decided to make a pot.
