In an effort to produce an environmentally friendly wood polish that I can sell, I purchased this product. Bees wax is one of its primary ingredients. In order to remove beeswax, you need to use special solvent. One I started using it around this time, I realized I'd only be using it for wood polish and sealant from now on. In my search for a cheap slow cooker, I found a few. There's a Walmart, a Target, and here on Amazon that I briefly looked at. We found this to be the most reasonable offer. There is no regret in my life. I am happy that I was able to do this. The device is not only cheap, it also has features that competitive products at higher price points do not have. A temperature that can be adjusted is among its features. This is another nice feature some competitors don't have There is a see-through lid, made of glass. Last but not least, there is the stainless steel exterior as opposed to an ugly, less expensive design. As much as a drive-through meal cost me, I spent the same amount on this slow cooker. I have yet to experience a failure with it. Buying that kind of food at that price would allow one to prepare many meals at home and save money. Think about how it would be perfect for a bachelor apartment. When I make small meals out of my crockpot, I hate it, plus I'm not a big fan of leftovers. With two servings, it is large enough to serve two meals or soup to one person. After it arrived in excellent condition, I was able to use it right away. It heated up and worked exactly like my big crock pot. My only complaint about this is that the cord is quite short. I will probably be using this every other day to cook my lunch for Just the right amount of food to make a meal for one person.

This cooker is the one I bought about 6 months ago for use as a pickling pot for silversmithing. As my silver turned pink a couple of weeks ago, I noticed some contamination in my pickle. Normally I use copper tongs and have always been very careful, so I was a little discouraged and decided to try something else. I discovered that the heating element had rusted and that quite a bit of fluid had collected in the bottom of the crock when I removed it. I was contaminated with iron from this source! Neither item could have accidentally fallen into the fluid, since I never drop anything in there. During the time it took to order a new unit, I empty the unit, change the solution, and dry it out. In the future, I will continue to use it and develop the same tell! In this pickle, you can see the signs of iron. I lifted the lid to reveal liquid in the bottom of the crock once The only thing I can think of is that the crock itself is defective. My initial search for another model was unsuccessful, but this is the perfect model for me, for I need a unit that runs at a low temperature. In order to find out if the same issue occurs under the same circumstances, I am going to order a second. It is important that the crock is properly sealed otherwise it will not hold fluid for long. There is no other use for this information besides for jewelers. I am certain that this pot will exceed my expectations for its price point when it comes to regular cooking. My old and new pots can be seen next to each other in the photo.

For breakfast I will eat oatmeal. It is made of steel The cut oats (1 cup in a 4 cup pan of water) were prepared overnight at low heat. Sweetened with a little sugar, half and half, and cinnamon, it is creamy and delicious. Both the roast and the ribs cooked on high for 2 hours on high, then on low for 6 hours on low. I really enjoyed the oatmeal and roast but the ribs weren't as good. Ribs! I love them so much! This dish is fork tender and has a great flavor. (The ribs had the longer bones on them, but the bones were short enough for them to stand Luckily, that did not happen, but we should have measured both the depth and the rib length of the cooker before we purchased it! The cooker doesn't generate a lot of heat in the kitchen, which we find very valuable. No need to worry that the lid does not contain a steam hole There are 3 small steam-powered machines On the rim of the stoneware pot, adjacent to where the lid fits, there are grooves for outlet holes. I can't say that this cooker is as fancy as those big expensive ones, but it is well-made It's nicely designed and its 3 settings (low, high, and warm) get the job done so don't be afraid, even though it's inexpensive. I can't wait to cook some chili with it!.

The Instant Pot is great but it can be a little overkill sometimes. Because I'm a single person, I sometimes just need something small for myself and maybe one or two grandchildren, and something that doesn't take up much space on my counter. This was the first thing I bought before Thanksgiving. I was making a small butternut squash soup at the time and it seemed perfect. A different small crock nearly won me over, but reviews said that even the low setting produced hot and burned food, so I decided to change Here is another one I found that was even smaller (which I welcomed). With the low setting, I cooked the soup all morning without burning it. Afterwards, I loved how the "keep warm" setting contributed to keeping it warm, too. I was looking for just that.

My favorite way to prepare hot cider is to use orange slices and apples. four cups are hot within about half an hour or three quarters of an hour when the hot temperature setting is selected. Once it has been on low for an hour, I turn it off. Once that time arrives, the cider is steaming, so I put it on warm and leave it for the rest of the afternoon. It has three temperature settings that are comparable to the bigger slow cookers and operate within same heat range. Keeping the steam inside the jar, the lid is made out of hard plastic that fits snugly. A meatloaf was also made with it that was to die for. I know this little crockpot is too small for family-sized portions, but it would be perfect for a trip by RV or just to keep a hot beverage warm for a few hours. Cooking for one or two people is ideal if this is the right size. Essentially, the insert and heating element are just like any other kind of modern slow cooker, so they are easy to clean.
