Two versions of the Keith Titanium Multifunctional Cooker exist the standard version and the upgraded version. A pressure regulator is the only change in the upgraded version. Those who live in higher altitudes have access to the upgraded version. Tests were conducted on mountains with a height above 13,000 feet for the standard version. I appreciate it!
In the near future, Keith Titanium factory will provide us with some silicone seals as a backup. We encourage our customers to contact Keith Titanium USA if they require it. Greetings! Thank you very much!
There is no need to use Nalgene bottles since they are
In the lid, there is a small hole. Neither will it work like a pressure cooker. It will develop some pressure, but not like one. IMHO, it's a good steamer for things like rice and veggies - for that, it works well. It might speed up cooking time by a small margin, but it's really made for steamed foods. In addition, even without the insert, you'll still have a nice titanium pot that can boil water or cook for one GSI makes a small pressure cooker for camping which you may want to look into if you're looking to purchase a pressure cooker.

It is worth the extra weight and cost when used in this situation. Otherwise, you should just use a single walled mug for heating water on an alcohol stove since it is lighter, cheaper, and cheaper. The versatility of this backpack will be helpful if you consider yourself more of an outdoor gourmet and a dedicated backpacker as opposed to a backpacker who is looking for ultralightweight backpacking gear. With some simple hacks, its stainless-steel "pot within a pot" design enables it to be much more than just a steamer for rice and vegetables. You can eat soup out of the outer pot, just don't eat it out of the inner pot as it has I don't know what it is for, but it's fine for rice and pasta! Then, you can use it as a cold soaker to prepare meals while you hike. The top clamps down nice and tight, making it a functional Vargo Bot in this situation. Make a mini oven from a thin metal sheet and bread pan in order to bake both steam and dry. You can use a neoprene knee wrap to make an insulating sleeve like a Jetboil to cook food with great ease. Despite its appearance, it will still provide you with the warmth you need to sip hot drinks out of it on cold winter It's NOT a pressure cooker, that's for sure. There is a video out there of a company testing a pressure cooker version of the crockpot. I only mention it because there is a video showing the company testing a beta version. It is important to note that this does NOT include that feature, so it is important to be aware of it. There was mention somewhere that the company would be selling a pressure cooker lid at some point in 2018, which I will buy right away. The experience was really fantastic and I can't say enough positive In the future, I hope to see more products from Keith!.
Can you tell me why there are The fact that I received a set (jpegs) of the instructions in English that are listed on Amazon sale point makes them 5 stars. Instructions for use were emailed to me the same day I placed the order (through Amazon). I find this to be a fine ***I can give this pot a 5 star rating for the fact that it works. Based on the instructions, I heated rice in water at the proper ratio. Once it was boiling (there was a strong stream of steam emanating from the top hole and you could hear it boiling), I lowered the heat to a low simmer, so that the steam was still coming but in slower The first cooking I left at simmer for 15 minutes and I had perfect jasmine rice, and the second cooking I left at simmer for another 15 minutes. It's not a "magic trick" to make great rice. Just little steps to make it happen, and it's super simple to Regardless of which electric stove I use, I found it to have a wide range of uses Test each pot with one rice cup (power iso butane stove).
In order to be able to prepare real Japanese rice while camping, I bought this. As a first impression, this thing seems to be a good buy It would be nice if replacements could be found. I find this a bit odd, but in no way a deal breaker. I am unsure whether I received a unfinished one or if this is an indication of a manufacturing cutback to save a few bucks. Despite the fact that the rice was slightly drier than what I am used to when cooking in a genuine Japanese cooker, my first test went well. In addition to the 280g of rice and the exact amount of water indicated by the holes, I waited 15 minutes for the rice to settle. Maybe this has something to do with the Chinese design, and Chinese rice is drier than other rice In my understanding, it generally consumes less water than Japanese cooking (typically about 1% The 1 vs. the 3 If I do it again, I will add more water than is recommended, but I did have a few instances in which milky water bubbled out of the top hole, so I am not sure if more would not also bubble Is it possible that the heating was set way too high as well? I guess the high pressure design is the reason for this.
The product is exactly what was advertised and is of high quality. It was easy to cook Jasmine rice on the stovetop and the results were excellent. To begin with, we took other reviewers' advice and waited for the water to settle before taking action I am glad I waited a little more and added some more liquid.
