Crockpot 2.5-Quart Mini Casserole Crock Slow Cooker, White/Blue

When I first opened my mini crockpot, I was very excited about it, but once I opened it, I discovered a note from the previous customer pointing out the imperfection in the glass insert. The insert is white, and there are many black marks all over the outside. Due in part to the fact that the note from the previous customer was still lodged inside the crockpot, it is likely that the company received the item back and put it back into circulation without even checking the reason for its return. This has disappointed me greatly.

It is exactly what I was hoping it would be a small crockpot perfect for cooking. When my family was raising us, I had the standard crockpot that everyone had, and I used it regularly. I continued to use crockpots as soon as we became empty nesters, since I was working and needed meals waiting for me when I returned After several years of working, we are retired, and I have wanted a smaller crockpot. Our two of us are at home alone, and we have more leftovers than we can use up. A small one will do just fine. We couldn't go with a smaller one that had the traditional high sides. One of the Amazon reviews hailed this as the perfect meal for two people, and I completely agree! "Just right" is how Goldilocks would describe the situation. In order to take sweet potatoes with us to family for Thanksgiving, we plugged it into the car via a power inverter and placed it in this container. We arrived at our destination to find them waiting for dinner, and my new mini-van had everything I might need People raved about the casserole cooked in the crockpot. There is a lot to like about it, and most importantly, the lid wipes clean every time. That great lock on the lid is not to be forgotten A dream came true as it traveled. My recommendation for anyone needing a casserole pot to prepare this size of meal is highly recommended.

I returned the first one because the lid latch broke during the first fastening. They sent a new one and I tried using it for the first time, but it did not heat on the second attempt.

My first impression of this mini crock when it arrived and was unpacked was that the size seemed very In order to make a solid comparison with the other options that I was considering as 3, I double checked my comparisons. I saw the 5 qt sizes available and decided I needed to try this. On our first try, we used 2 pounds of ground beef, cooked on low for 2 hours until it was cooked all the way through and easily ground up for taco meat. We turned the setting to warm, and it was perfect for our family of four for dinner with I have used a 2 lb block of Velveeta cheese for Rotel cheese dip) and it has worked great. Furthermore, the white crock is so much easier to clean than my big black crock. The photo of this shows that it is oval-shaped, which I was unable to tell from the photo. It did not require much storage space in my lower cabinet, I simply flipped the large oval one and flipped it over, pushing it to the back of the shelf so that it fits perfectly in front of it. It is of high quality and the design is very pleasing.

Just Right for a Couple, Goldilocks, or even for the whole family! It has been 25 years since I was born I noticed our Rival slow cooker had gotten to the point where it only cooked on HIGH, no matter how we set the knob. I think this was one of those which has an oblong metal plate sitting on top of a heating plate and a heating element My favorite thing about that pan was that I could brown my roast on the stovetop and then move it to the plate. As well as lightweight (in comparison to stoneware), the container was very small when fully loaded. As much as I liked the old guy, I wasn't planning to replace it, but when I saw this one in the search results, I figured it would be wonderful to have a more shallow container now that the nest is empty At the moment, I do not require the capacity. The one I saw seemed to be a multi-faceted one The casserole dish mostly fits into the warm unit because it is more or less designed for use with the warmer. It has been very helpful for me over the past few weeks, and I am generally pleased with its performance. Unlike many of today's models, I didn't need the features that allow one to set the cooking to begin later or to cook for x hours and then have it reheated. perfect for our family, and it is oval in shape, so we can use it for things like ribs which wouldn't fit in round dishes of the same size. of the features I like about this unit is that it has handles on its own, so if I need more counter space while it is cooking, I can move it easily. My favorite feature of the lid is the clips that hold it Because the lid has a rubber gasket that forms a good seal when the clips are clamped into place, they work well. Please exercise caution If you lock the lid on your pot while cooking, the pot will catch on fire. This is what my husband did when cooking a highly seasoned pork roast, as he reasoned that the lid vent would release steam, so sealing it would allow all the flavor to penetrate the meat. As well as being able to eliminate this awful smell, it also infected the gasket with a very strong odor! When I contacted the manufacturer to ask if I could buy a new lid, they didn't sell the lid alone. In my opinion, the most important quality of a crock pot is the way the cooked dishes adhere to the sides. Those cookies were so difficult that I had forgotten how hard they were On rings at the waterline, they can easily be scrubbed away. It is that flavor that gives "crockpot cooking" its distinctive taste, my mother has always told me. The view is a little different for me after enjoying countless tasty dishes from my non-vegetarian mother for 20+ years It is a metal slow cooker that has a stick surface. As somebody who's used to doing dishes right away & not letting them soak, I'll probably take some time to get used to soaking the dish Place everything back in its place after a meal is over. Although it is a bit surprising that no one has developed a better glaze after all these years - While Magic Erasers reduce the need for elbow grease, they do reduce the cleaning time. I could give it 5 stars, but that is the only thing holding me back.

Potlucks at work are a breeze with this size dish. is not heavy compared to other bookpacks, so carrying it around is much easier. Since I had already searched local stores and hadn't been able to find it, I decided to order it On the weekend following this purchase, I found them at my local big box store for twenty dollars, which was ten dollars less than what I paid

All I wish is that this was available as a crock pot that automatically went to warm based on the amount of time set Cooking for two, or for a small family, or cooking the meat for two, is a breeze with this pot.

-Amazon should remove it from their site, it's a dangerous product. -Don't buy it. Our food was contaminated by an unattached rivet that held the top locking handle onto the handles. The photo shows the exact location where the photos were taken. I've been enjoying this thing since the day I got it. On the counter was a cooker like this. Every time we used it, my wife hand washed it to ensure it was not.
