Questions & Answers

110 V? Is that really the voltage?

On the box, it is noted that it will operate at 110 volts, 50 Hz, and 800 watts. In addition to the specs, the sticker appears to cover other details. My bad. I plugged it in a regular outlet in the garage without thinking about it. My one cup of beans worked fine. One batch ran one cup of beans. When expanded, the package weighs approximately 14 ounces. Volumetrically, roast accounts for 7% of the total. In addition to creating a good deal of smoke, it also creates steam. When you lift the lid at the end, you can see a lot of soot. A few batches of medium roast 12 have been made We then roasted a few batches of 13 at 240 degrees during this thirty minute process After 00 minutes at 240 degrees, remove from the oven. The wheat is dumped into a 9 x 9" pan, and the chaff is blown off. As soon as the ground coffee is cool, we pour it into a 16 oz Mason/Ball/Kerr jar and barely screw it on so it will completely solidify You smell a great aroma after 24 hours, but wait three or four days to grind it and brew it. Once you've realized this stinky thing is why you do it, the experience is wonderful. The unit is unplugged immediately, so my wife can get rid of the chaff while it cools.

Can you tell me who has put a blond roast on and cracked it?

There is a way to do it, but it is so soft that sometimes If you see that the roast has become blond, do the next step as soon as possible.

Why should you upgrade from the 110v to the 110-volt How much current does a 120V machine draw?

The problem is that I only have the 110V unit, so the answer is going to be mansplained. 110V machines were not actually designed for 120V use in the United States, for example, and I do not believe that they operate at full power. There are 110 members of the 110-member If you have a 120V unit, you should have a transformer that can deal with the problem. A 110-converter would have been my first choice if I had the option at the time A 120-volt machine for use in the United States.

It works well for roasting small amounts of meat
3/5

As an introduction, I was just getting started in roasting when I purchased this a couple months ago. The coffee beans I have used so far come from several origins and I have roasted it about 7 times so far. Roasting in this machine is pretty decent for small batches. It is possible to roast beans in small batches and achieve a fairly uniform roast. It seems to me that roasting more than one cup at a time will ruin the batch. As the plate surface is heating up, I believe it is due to inconsistent heat distribution, as the external air temperature appears to not be changing, but instead the plate surface is. This is why it is best to let the roasted vegetables warm up before roasting them. It would also be a good idea not to follow the instructions. The first batch I ran turned out to be a disaster because the usage instructions appeared to be translated. It is far too low to start at the temperature they suggest. As a result of reading several roasting guidelines, I now start all of my roasts around 220 to 240 degrees. With this roaster it appears to take 11 to 13 minutes for one crack, and 17 to 20 minutes or so for a second crack depending on the origin of the beans. Around 19 to 22 minutes is the average roasting time for roasts with 1 cup. The yield of each cup of green is nearly two cups of fully roasted coffee. If it's an introduction to roasting, I don't see any problems with it. The device has certainly served its purpose and I have made some great coffee with it. It would be better if there was a digital temp control, but what you pay for is what you get. Having said all that, it will roast your beans and do what it promises to do. Roast to your heart's content. I've updated to A few months after the heating element stopped working, the power has been shut off. The roaster did work, but I'm a little disappointed because it worked well. The best course of action for me is to move on to a better alternative. Because of this, I have changed my rating from 3 to.

The personal roaster that I like the best
5/5

The roasts I've made so far total 4. Starting with 210 grams of green Primos, I proceeded to eat the whole bag. My first eight minutes were at 200C to push out moisture, then I ran it at full temperature for the remaining eight minutes. At 11 I got a crack at it The first crack begins at 30 and the second crack begins The age of 18 is considered adult. I have 00 dark roast beans that look oily. It has been a long search for the best personal roaster for me.

This is the SCR for Bar Well For more than a decade I have roasted more than 100 pounds of coffee every year
5/5

In the past five years, five roasting machines have The last one I bought detonated for no real reason, except for me unwittingly loosening a wire when I cleaned its inside. Given a $600-plus price tag, I wished I had built better machines. With $1100 in the form of replacement or repair costs, I was eager to find a machine that was less expensive. With high heat and moving parts, a roaster will not last a lifetime. There is actually an SCR in this case it is a Bar Well It is possible to find 300, but there are not many English-speaking On the Internet, you can find articles about it in different languages. The service comes with an on-demand component The temperature is controlled by an off switch and a It has a thin riveted strip that jostles the beans when they are swept across it and agitated by the arms stirring the beans. This does not come with a chaff collector or a In the instructions, 10 minutes are to be spent at 140 C, 5 minutes at 180 C, and 5 minutes at 210 C. There are several reviewers here who are using higher heat levels. I have changed from 180/210 to 190/230 for city-style climates. There is a plus level of roasting. This recipe has been tested in batches of 4, 6, 8, and 12 ounces. In the end, I decided on 8 ounces weighing 20-pounds You might want to plan ahead for how to handle smoke if you spend 25 minutes in a car port outdoors. You can blow away chaff and dump the beans into a colander or perforated pizza pan to cool them. It is my job to season the non-alcoholic beverages Add a few drops of olive oil to the surface and then smear it with the oil The question of whether seasoning will prolong the life of a surface is definitely debatable. As a result, the lid gets covered with residue at the inside A soft scouring pad and cloth can easily be used to clean it. As a result of the large lid, you have a fantastic view of the beans being roasted. But when looking at the beans, you must ignore the spinning chaff's orange color and focus instead on the bean color, roasting smell, and crackling I and my significant other agree that the products from this roaster are better than those from costlier Look out for the packet containing the washer and screw used for attaching the lid watch out for the washer There is definitely a need for this and it was apparently overlooked A foot came off of the horse Therefore, I glued all of them in order to prevent the problem from recurring. The update will be about my one-year anniversary Roasts in which beans produce a significant amount of large pieces of chaff Coffees with a honey flavor or wet coffee 7) have called for me to blow/jostle that chaff out of the way while processing As chaff acts like a dam, it will prevent the beans from being swept away. The only complaint I have is this one. I have no other complaints to make. A little over 550 roasts, here's the latest update. Finally, I had to replace the heating element, so I purchased another In comparison to the original, it differs greatly. Compared to the original, the new bowl is wider, the stirring rod is slower, and the beans can get caught up on the rod. A LED light is now attached to the dial. 5 minutes were allowed for the coffee to cool in the original It takes 10 minutes to use the latest model. When 60 roasts are completed. The output of the machine is uneven, but the coffee that is brewed is consistently more delicious than that brewed with the old system. I did need to tighten the nut on the rod to prevent beans from getting stuck, but now there is only the odd bean getting stuck. As a starting point, I run 8 minutes at 100, followed by 5 minutes at 140, and then up to 230 until second crack happens a lot.

Here is my backup of A pound of Columbian was roasted as soon as it came to me
4/5

Exactly 20 minutes after the start of the attack, the first crack occurred. About 30 minutes after the first crack, there was the second crack. A Full City+ roast was served at the end of the night. I was able to complete the task. It's kind of cheap to build. In case I use the roaster very often, I can't tell how long it will last.

The energy and time it saves is phenomenal! The roaster worked quite well even with 120V
4/5

I was hesitant about how well it would work with that voltage. In fact, we had to roast okra seeds twice to get them to roast. You have a maximum run time of ten minutes and a cool down period of twenty minutes. As opposed to continuously stirring the ingredients, waiting is a much better option. You may not be able to speak of the time it takes to roast coffee beans if that's what you plan to do, but okra seeds are harder than coffee beans, so roasting coffee beans should be relatively straightforward for you. The range hood was unused, so we did not have any smoke as coffee beans are often said to have. I had planned to use the range hood, but I was not required to do so. It was easy to clean, since it was made of non-porous material Stick to it. In the manual, stirring bars are to be removed, but I was not able to do so. Thanks in advance if you could give me a bit more information on how that works. Whether you are cleaning your house or not, it is easy to do. As a result of two different heights of bars, a variety of bean thicknesses may be moved around. It has been a great experience, and I will definitely be trying Since the manual is very brief, you'll need to experiment to find the right temperature and when to perform the tests. Kitchen gadgets normally last for a long time. It remains to be seen how durable the materials will be over time. Asian has been using these machines for quite some time now and reviewers laud them, especially this particular.
