It has been my intention for years to buy a microwave that has just a knob and a start button when I build my new home. The wacky designs and useless keys on all these microwaves that are encroaching upon the market are most irritating to me. common to find microwaves with physical buttons that are hard to press because your finger needs to be positioned just so. As soon as you press it, the entire microwave moves.
There is nothing more I can say about this Samsung microwave (MG11T5018CC). It's a beautiful glass front and has brilliantly designed SIMPLE buttons, not to mention that it's black stainless to match the other appliances. As a result, you do not have to stare at it as you wonder how it works. When a finger touches one of the capacitive touch buttons their functionality is immediately activated. The good news is that all of this makes me want to buy a second one at this low price. What is quite unexpected about this microwave is the fact that it broils food? It is a little gem that I will continue to share with people in my kitchen.
This microwave isn't good at all, even though I wanted to like it. A dangerous situation could arise from this. Almost no instructions, other than warnings to not put it in water as it will damage it. A right-hand grip is on the door, but the door opens to the left. Basically, this means you have to use your right hand for both opening the food and placing it in your mouth. It can be a bit frustrating when you come up to the microwave to put your food in because you need to set it down or shuffle between hands to do so. A strong spring holds the door shut, but the weight of the microwave is too heavy to hold it. It is common for just trying to open it to cause the microwave to slide out and potentially fall off the shelf. The majority of it is done "auto-pilot" You should use "cook" rather than "auto-cook" The "auto-warm" feature on the "auto-" feature They seem very strange to have a "cook" preset. The computer can cook frozen potato croquettes, for example, and offer settings for chocolate mug cake and mug cake with ice cream. The things I am talking about I have never heard of before. You can also set it to show buffalo wings and chicken wings. The silly thing. I like that there are fewer buttons, but I dislike the design of these buttons. There are several buttons you have to press in order to accomplish your goals.
As a first assessment, here are the following findings Here are a couple of things to keep in mind The Buckleberry might not be your best option if you want a quiet oven. A second issue is that the grill feature is modest, meaning toasting requires some patience. Last but not least, the design of the base indicates that you'll be able to move the unit easily on a smooth surface coupled with a pull handle. There are no issues that have been noted in other reviews. The current view is as follows The electrical smell has been going on for 4 months and now there is I'm returning this to Amazon since they'll give me credit. Look elsewhere if you want to avoid the hassle.
You can turn off the beep by following the instructions in the small booklet that is included in the box. Samsung did not know you could turn off the beep sound and informed me that it cannot be switched off.
There is a dent at the bottom, which makes it sit lopsidedly and prevents the side from sitting right. Although the box was perfect, there was obviously damage to this item before it was shipped. It has been mentioned in other reviews in the last couple weeks that the product was damaged do I need to return the item This is a rather bulky item and I cut my hand opening it. Putting this in a box is not something I look forward to, and if the replacement is damaged I'll be very annoyed. I hope someone can give my situation a little quality control before I replay it in an inconvenient, annoying way.
The first thing you notice from the photos is one of the four legs is defective, the one that protrudes is not flat, which is a poor quality inspection on Samsung's part. Next it gets louder and louder after a few days, so what do we do? Our seller may have damaged the shipment during shipping and we need to contact him. Clearly, this IS NOT a case of The company will not waste their time sending out a tech to investigate this problem as it is a product defect. So, now we have to send this one back, wait for a replacement and live without a microwave until the replacement one arrives. A second time. The products Samsung makes have always been a hit with us, but this? As long as we see the bright side of it, we would have loved it even with the leg defect. There was a minor inconvenience, we got a new microwave, and it got louder and louder as time went on. I have already stated all that is to be said. Samsung has been a great brand with all of its other products, but with this one, we were just too disappointed in the experience to stand behind. The only thing we can hope for is that Samsung will rectify this.
I just took it out of the box, removed the stickers and wrapping, and noticed the dent on its right top. The dent has caused the pressing pad to come away from you a little bit. It works well but I am re-doing all of my kitchen and I cannot have a dented microwave in it. It's a very nice microwave. I guess I just got lucky and got a dented one. I will be returning it. Amazon has credited my account for the item.
The product has been in use for less than two months. I unplugged the oven and took it outside. There was a horrible smell coming from the microwave and smoke started billowing out of it. The oven was clean and I set a timer for one minute, one item on the plate to reheat was cold, but soon started smoking.
