Questions & Answers

Does it exist a way to permanently turn off sounds?

Glory to God! There will be no more beeping. There are two ways to do this in the Manual Page 8 #3 of the Operations manual. To get used to the fact that there is no beep at all, it takes a little while. When you enter your cook time and such, there is no beeping In my apartment, which is on the third floor, I live alone. There is a microwave in my apartment that still works, but it is now so loud and annoying that I want it to be thrown I've never owned a microwave this big in its entire size, and it weighs half as much as my old one that's the same

In what dimensions does it stand outside?

In the outside, they stand 14" high, are a little over 19" deep, and are 24" wide.

Is there a turntable on it?

Yes, and there are many features that we are still discovering, such as Would you like something to be defrosted? You can use the smart feature in the unit to make sure the edges don't get burnt or cooked when you defrost. Just press the defrost button, the display responds in pounds when you press the button, and then enter the weight in pounds and press start. There are two 4 oz beef patties (each is 8 oz or 0.05 pounds) in the freezer. It weighs a little over five pounds. I punched out the defrost and got a 0 for it. To begin, you should weigh 5lbs.

What time is it? Is it always lit up or does it have some kind of energy conserving function?

If I had a choice, I'd want it ( auto ) dimmed because in a room that is "dark", it seems I just wish for the best. almost like you can see the plastic components and space around "inside" the Describe the territory.

The steaming process
3/5

THE UPDATE IS In light of this, I have reduced my rating to one star, and I will never buy another microwave from Panasonic again. My computer has finally been repaired after six weeks. My experience with Panasonic's customer service was awful, and they made me feel like I was a nuisance. What I had to go through to get my laptop fixed should never be necessary for any customer. It would have been easier to just toss the microwave in the trash had I known about the hassle ahead of time. It was told to me at least three times that the case would be escalated before anything would happen. In addition, I was told that once the item was received, it would be repaired in 24 hours There was a delay of about two weeks, not 48 hours. As I opened the box today, I found dirty finger prints on the microwave, as well as some kind of glue on it. I would have appreciated it if they had maintained it. Having worked with Panasonic for a long time, I have no further interest. While my microwave was in for service, I had to use a competitor's brand. That microwave has proven to be stellar, and I am sure I will be looking at them again for my next microwave. In fact, the used loaner has already outlasted its Panasonic counterpart, and I'm guessing they have excellent customer service, as there are so many positive ratings on other sites. I may have got a lemon, but they may just haven't had a chance to break theirs You're going to have to deal with it when it breaks. It is not a good microwave to buy! It has been six weeks since I bought this microwave, and now it doesn't work. My H97 error is causing me to have trouble. In light of the fact that it is still under warranty, I contacted Panasonic who instructed us to take it to the nearest service center. We drove an hour to get to the shop only to find out it couldn't After contacting Panasonic back, I was told that I could have a new microwave sent to me. I did so, and my case has been I contacted back 72 hours later, and no one had done anything. Is that true? We were told that a Field Rep has the right to make the decision whether or not to replace the microwave and he will be given the case to The CS advised me to contact the Panasonic Field Representative at the Service Repair Center to get in touch with That is something I should not have to do, and I My review of this camera will not be ready until Panasonic gets their act together. As it stands, it is currently rated as a 3 out of 5 stars product, and I will likely change it to either 1 out of 5 or 4 out of 5 stars depending on how Panasonic responds. My customer is currently without a microwave because I am the one without a microwave. Panasonic treats its customers well, so let's see how that goes.

Having trouble with your Panasonic warranty
3/5

I bought the unit six months ago and it has failed after fairly light use. At this point, the unit is still within its warranty period, according to its manufacturer. Product support is a maze of bureaucratic obscurity and shifting from one recorded response to another. I waited thirty minutes and speaking with several "technicians" until I got a "technicians" support that only advised that I should take the unit to a service center roughly 60 miles from the house. My call to customer service was put on hold a second time for more than 20 minutes waiting for an answer to a shipping question. It is not just that I would never buy this product again, but I cannot see a reason to buy any Panasonic product as their products seem to be of poor quality, and their return policy is not reasonable. It has now been over 25 minutes since I last checked in. I also perceive the "technician" as having an adversarial attitude throughout the process. * I am updating that the second call took over 32 minutes to connect. The microwave will be repaired once we receive a container from Panasonic.

Second update, February 9, 2017

After a long and not particularly friendly discussion, Panasonic tech rep agreed to send a container to Having delivered the container with microwave to a Fedex office across town, the microwave was shipped to its destination with pre-paid shipping. After ten days, it was returned and appears to be working as it is supposed to. Though I am relieved that the purchase was not a total loss, I'm fairly sure I would have preferred to avoid the very adversarial process that led to the outcome. As outraged as I was at the breakdown of a piece of equipment after 6 months of use, I believe my feelings of outrage may have helped resolve the problem, but I would have preferred getting sympathy and helpful attitudes, given that I feel Panasonic is responsible for the problem. The third update for October 12th indicates that the repair done under warranty in January did not work, which means that this microwave is not working for the second time since July, 2016. In its refusal to correct the failed warranty repair, Panasonic denied any responsibility. It was only possible to communicate by connecting to a chat line, but the results were unsatisfactory. There is a possibility of receiving a refund from Amazon A partial solution they would be entitled to the return of the microwave following a return authorization. It was a pleasure dealing with Amazon's customer service compared to As a result, it was effectively non-existent The existent exists. Customer service is available at Panasonic's telephone number, where a recording states that there is a $9 charge. In the case the product in question is no longer under warranty, there will be a charge of $95 to speak with a technician, who will direct the customer to their online site and then terminate Having forgotten their phone number, it was almost impossible to locate Panasonic customer support. That, and their response, kind of makes their service seem academic anyway. As the marketing department of Panasonic continues to look after their customer support, I wonder how they view it.
