It happened around 3 weeks ago that a constant beeping noise would play for a short period of time before going out of range. It wasn't until a couple of days ago that I realized it was a problem. As soon as we detected the odor of smoke, we were alerted. Both my husband and I went around the house looking for it, but The microwave was being used today to reheat some food, so I kept a close eye on it. Initially, it appeared to work normally, but then I smelled smoke again. After a closer look, I noticed that black smoke had poured into the microwave and was coming out of it. As a set Installation and operation are simple, and the manual is simple to understand. I love how easy it is to operate, how quiet it is, and how I don't have to worry about the unit sliding across the counter as with my previous microwave. The problem is. Inequal heat distribution leads to uneven cooking. It was hot in some places, lukewarm in others, and even cool in a few places, even something so homogeneous and simple as spaghetti simply reheated. I prefer to have a noisy, skidding, complex microwave that delivers an evenly cooked meal rather than a machine with all these good features. I'll just have to add time to whatever I'm heating and hope for the best since it's too much trouble to pack it for a return.
