Questions & Answers

It's hard to decide between this one and the 8006 right now. Apart from the larger chute, would it be mostly the same in terms of quality, functionality, and reliability?

My problem is the same as yours. I just had a 15 minute conversation with an Omega employee about the same thing. I should point out that the NC800 and NC900 are the same thing. It is only the color that differs. *br>There is a difference between the NC800/900 and the 8006 in the size of the chute and the adjustable end-cap. It is capped. With the adjustable end, it allows you to Omega's end-cap allows you to fine tune the amount of pulp in your juice. The woman at Omega says some people find there is a learning curve to using it. It is capped. The wider chute on the NC800 has led me to order it just now. A quick reminder that the J8004 and J8006 are identical machines, only they are painted in In the figure, a white J8004 appears, a chrome colored J8006 appears In the NC8004, the chrome is applied in an extra step, so the price is cheaper.

It has the smaller food chute of the Omega 8005. What is the worth of upgrading to the NC800 (and paying more money)? What is the time commitment involved in juicing spinach and ?

In my opinion, it is not worth it to upgrade from the 8006 to the 8106. Since I juiced spinach everyday for the past 3 weeks on this machine, whereas I juiced for one year on my old 8006, I noticed that the juicer was faster. If I still had my 8006 with me at the time of purchase, I would not have bought When you have money to burn, I recommend you buy it, it's a nice upgrade, but don't buy it if you are looking to save pennies.

I am having trouble getting half of my juice out of the machine, but I get pulp out of the remaining half. ?

You should start with a soft fruit such as strawberries, peaches, etc., then add a hard fruit such as carrots, ginger, etc. Alternate There is juice coming out of the filter because the hard fruit seems to clean it out.

Unable to make a choice. Between the 8006 and the Nc800 I'm trying to decide which is right for me. Is the price increase justified by the differences?

As for the 8006, I do not possess it. The NC800 HDS has been working smoothly for me, and I am very pleased with it. Definitely one of the best juicers available.

It's time to get back to the fun of The best I can say is I liked juicing because it was As someone who has always used a centrifugal juicer, I was always bothered by the noise, the complicated cleaning process, and the limited types of foods that I could juice
4/5

The Omega juicer changed all that and gave me the freedom to juice anything at any time. The juice was delicious and easy to make! I am most concerned about the last point (it is one of the most important aspects for me). *breathe* **Let's take a look at it for a moment. A slow juicer like Omega is usually referred to as "slow juicers". Certainly, there will be a longer time required to produce the same amount of juice as with a centrifugal extractor. BUT this is much The juice has less oxidation, but most importantly, it tastes better! We did a research test by juicing the same quantity in both groups and comparing the results. Wejuiced carrots, red cabbage, and apples at the same percent. This centrifugal juicer produced a liquid that smelled very strongly of cabbage and was watery in consistency. - The Omega made just a tad less juice (not much) but what it did make was of stunning quality The colors have been homogenized and they are better finished product showed a symbiotic relationship between all of its ingredients, with absolutely no taste of cabbage at all. I made this juice from a centrifugal juicer to give my kids a healthier alternative, but they liked it better than the one from a blender. The feeding mouth on the Omega is smaller than the X. There are no longer any large amounts that can be dumped into the juicer. That's not a bad thing at all. It will all be worth it when you see the final product. Carrots do not seem to bother me at all when it comes to cutting them- If the red beet is cut up, or if the apple is sliced. As it turns out, this is not too bad, even with my kids helping out. Cutting is done by me and my children, while I feed them to The juicer works great for me. In fact, I even cut items that would probably work whole into smaller pieces to reduce the burden on the machine. It's not unusual for me to go to this length. There is not much room in the collecting bin. In addition, the discharge system was not well The juice chute fits beneath the machine, but if you are juicing larger quantities you must unload the bin (the height of the machine is not conducive to using larger pitchers) and as you unload the juice still drips even if the juicer is turned As a result, after unloading you should wipe the bins under them and replace them fast at all times in order to avoid a mess. The vertical juicer I bought did not come with a stopper, but it would have been nice if one had been included. That is what it is and we deal with it as a result. A cleaner like the Omega makes cleaning much easier. Keeping a centrifugal machine clean would take a lot of time. With this one, not so much. is easy to assemble and clean and it comes apart quite easily. I juice and drink the juice immediately, never store it and juice twice per day (morning and lunch) and I do not mind cleaning the juicer every time I use Our juice consumption increased as a result of this aspect! When using the Omega, it is not recommended to juice soft fruits. It doesn't matter what it is. As long as it stays in the masticating chamber, it will be harmless. While it can be a problem occasionally, we have been able to overcome In one of my favorite juices, for instance, I put tomatoes, red cabbage, red beet, celery root, carrot, garlic, and parsley stems and lovage leaves together. To start, I need to start with a tomato, then I need to follow it up with something more dry like cabbage, and I must finish with a carrot because it will push everything else This system brings us a number of advantages over centrifugal systems, since we can juice things that we couldn't with the centrifugal model. In Omega's book, leafy green vegetables are the best. What I like the most, however, is that I am no longer throwing anything away. The stems of parsley, dill, beets, etc. are left over so we juice them with the other vegetables too. You cannot beat the taste of these stems. It will be amazing if you add a little lime or lemon and ginger in your green juice! If four stars are all that is required, why After receiving the first one, the whole masticating chamber would wobble like crazy when running dry, and the motor would make a rhythmic noise. We suspect the first one is defective, so we got a new one. He made the same mistake as his replacement. It seems that the shaft of the auger is not perfectly straight, so I can only infer that. These plastic parts are just too much! The plastic portions of this thing, even if it is covered by a decade warranty, will most certainly need replacement at some point in the future. (don't forget to print Do you know of any cartridge combos? 2) I would pay double for this to be made of stainless steel! As of now, I guess it will remain to be seen if this juicer will last, but for now, it has restored the fun of juicing, and the result is delicious, too! A SECOND UPDATE It has been almost 4 months since we first purchased the juicer, and we are still loving it. We no longer get up at the same time at all! Our counter became a staple on our counter after we used it so frequently that we did not store it away. It became a ritual for everyone in the family to drink the morning juice. I prepare the juice as soon as I wake up The quality of their work is excellent). In spite of the fact that it is not necessary, I dice everything I put in it as it takes no more than a few extra minutes. By doing so, the juicer becomes 100% self-feeding, and it makes it far easier for the juicer to function. A nutritious shoot into the vein) that if we were late one morning, they would request it -- Could I have my juice already, Daddy? I'm getting hungry soon, so would that be okay? Remember, there is no fruit in this world. It's obvious that these kids are creatures of habit! This is a good thing for us - now we have no waste All our fruits and vegetables are juiced! Well, we cooked cauliflower the day before, so we have a few leaves and stems left We prepared a red beet salad and now have all the stems to juice (the leaves are used to make soup) etc. , etc. This way, you will have a vegetable stock from all of the shredded vegetables. Even though they were juiced, it still came out great! We feel great, but the best part is how good we look! It is always a coincidence when my children don't get colds after starting to juice I'm not sure, but the school year started during this time and they would usually bring something home with them. Perhaps it was just a coincidence this time. My family is trying to become a Paleo family (I am completely Paleo, the rest of our family is about 75% Paleo). In addition to receiving this juicer (so 6 months ago), I began a Paleo lifestyle 3 months prior. With the juicer I replaced two meals a day with juice. I have a pretty large juice for breakfast (again, only vegetables and mostly avoiding root vegetables), then one for lunch (since I work close to home, it is easy to make fresh juice during lunchtime). My weight has reduced by 45 pounds since starting Paleo, and by 35 since getting As well as having so much energy, I have a ton of focus! The juicer exceeded all expectations. I never thought we would love it so much. Although it is not the best juicer out there, it makes great tasting juice. Nonetheless, it deserves 4 stars as it is a good juicer. I've never seen so much plastic! If I were to have stainless steel everything, I would pay a double price. In addition to dumping the plastic, we also set up a recycling system. Containers are great (so hard to maintain, but they work well) and juice is directly in glass bottles. A mixing chamber that is difficult to clean is also a problem. Rinsing is all you will see in YouTube videos The juicer will have a nasty look in a few days if you do this a few times. If you want to remove all stain from the inside, you'll need to brush it thoroughly. Over time, these locking mechanisms get worn out, making them harder to operate I have noticed that when my kids "help" they press too hard on the tamper, so some juice passes through the plastic o-ring into the jar During a wedding. The next or the next day, the locking wheel will be "sticky" if it is not cleaned. Having taken off the wheel several times already (a Phillips screwdriver will do the trick in seconds), last time I had to replace the bearings. Despite its flaws, it had a huge impact on our lives and I will forgive the flaws for what it taught us. A SECOND UPDATE I have had this juicer for about 8 months now, and it is still working perfectly. A couple of other issues emerged as well As carrots push through everything left in the juicer, everything else there is pushed through too). I find that nearly every time I get to the red beet, some juice leaks from the transparent body to the black retaining nut and that gasket is no longer sealing well. There will always be red beets.

Because we got rid of the plastic containers that came with the juicer, we got rid of the plastic containers.

Vegetables, such as green leafy ones, juice well when juiced with the juicer
3/5

Green leafy vegetables, carrots, apple, celery, and a few others work well with the juicer, but it does not do so well with soft fruits like kiwi and This was an easy to clean product. Unfortunately, I have to give it one star because I've only had it for two and half months and the plastic strainer has broken in the process. As one of those customers who believes that a product should just work and work for a long time without having to call the company twice a year because of insignificant things like this, I agree. Whenever plastic parts are under pressure, I hate them. There is simply no enduring power in them. The item would be returned if it were possible. I've decided to invest in a metal juicer that is more expensive. Spend the money on something for your health that has quality and does your research!.

It is easy to break attachment parts since they are flimsy and cheaply made
3/5

It was a disappointment to see that the components were not of good quality. My feeder screen cracked within minutes of use (they said it was covered under warranty, but charged me for the replacement part). It's now cracked at the black funnel end of the feeder tube as well. The two times that the parts broke, I was just getting started in juicing and was trying to start The two times I ran into failed parts, I was not able to proceed. As soon as the unit is turned on, all the attachment pieces shake and are cheap and flimsy. In order for me to buy a quality machine, I would appreciate a refund.

Wow, this is amazing
5/5

The juicer I bought a few years ago was the result of much research and a desire to try becoming The juice I had previously came from a cheap centrifugal juicer from Target which caused my juice to taste awful, separate immediately, and contain tons of First of all, it was SO loud that it sounded like a lawn mower, and I lived with 3 other girls in an apartment on campus and felt really uncomfortable using it when everyone woke up. After many years of regretting not getting a juicer and taking a chance, I bought this juicer regardless of its price being way over my budget. In addition to making delicious juice, this juicer is also easy to use and makes juice that doesn't taste watery. With my old juicer, I was able to barely stomach the stuff, but I crave the green juice I make with this one and look forward to it each day. Even when you use a lot of different kinds of fruits and vegetables, the juice does not separate (unless you leave it in the fridge for a long time, but then you can shake it back together and it stays together) and it produces very little foam at all. I don't mind or even care if a small amount of pulp is present in the juice. I also love the fact that the pulp comes out SUPER dry, which I never experienced with my old juicer. It gives me the feeling that I am not wasting my fruits In addition, I like this thing because it is really easy to clean and use, it is a simple design. There is a lot less food waste and it is easier to clean than my old centrifugal. As well as the plates/attachments, I enjoy that it is offered in several sizes. I love making frozen banana ice cream with the blender attachment. It's much better than I can make with just a banana in the blender alone. My last preference for this juicer is the fact that it is SO quiet, I can use it at any time of the day or night without worrying about disturbing anyone with the noise it makes. It is ideal for living in an apartment. It is my favorite juice recipe to make that consists of kale, romaine, carrots, apple, and grapes (in the picture). The best tip is to add grapes to your kale or green juice if you don't like the taste of it (I saw this in a video once).
