Questions & Answers

There were a few options available to me, and I'm caught between both. In addition to having a bigger chute, does it perform, function, and be as reliable as the original?

After speaking with a really nice lady at Omega for a half hour, I had the same question for her. It should be noted that the NC800 and NC900 are identical Besides the color, there is no difference. There is a difference between the NC800/900 and the 8006 in that the NC800/900 has a larger chute and adjustable ends It is capped. This adjustable end can be adjusted to fit There are a couple of set-ups you can choose from to fine-tune the amount of pulp in your juice. The lady at Omega told me some people find the end cap tricky to use. It is capped. My order for the NC800 was placed just because the chute is wider. *By the way, the J8004 and J8006 are the same machine, just in a different color There is a white J8004 and a chrome COLORED (not chrome metal) J8006. Because of the extra step required to apply the chrome color, the NC8004 is cheaper.

The Omega 8005 I have has a smaller chute for food. Do you think upgrading to the NC800 (and spending more money) is worth it? When juicing spinach & kale, how much time does it take?

It was a big mistake to upgrade my 8006 before upgrading to an 8008 for me. When I juiced spinach every day for 3 weeks on this machine and for 1 year on my 8006 I noticed that juicing was quicker, but if I still had my 8006 at the time of purchase I wouldn't have had to get a new juicer. When you have a lot of cash to burn, then buy it, it's a nice enough upgrade, but if you are counting pennies, you shouldn't.

Juice is stuck in the machine for half of the cycle, but pulp comes out the other half. ?

You might want to begin with a soft fruit such as strawberries, peaches, etc., then a hard fruit such as carrots, ginger, etc. Alternate between soft and hard fruits. As long as the hard fruit keeps coming out of the filter, juice keeps coming out.

Having trouble making a decision. The 8006 or the Nc800 are the two models I'm considering. Do you think the difference in price is worth the ?

As for the 8006, I do not own it. My NC800 HDS is very reliable, and I am satisfied with how it operates and produces Juicer of excellent quality.

It has brought the fun back to Let me say just a few words Juicing has never been more fun than this! It used to be that I had a centrifugal juicer, which was noisy, dirty, and limited in the types of things you could juice
4/5

The Omega changed all that, and most importantly - it was silent. I liked how easy and tasty it was to juice! I find that the latter is a crucial aspect (probably because I am a great fan of it)

Let's take a closer look at it. There is a slow juicer that goes along with the Omega. With the centrifuge it will definitely take longer to do the same thing as with the centrifugal. But this is a lot The juice has much less oxidation and the taste is far superior! We juiced the same quantity in both in the same quantities. We juiced red cabbage, carrots, and apples in the same quantities. Using a centrifugal juicer, a very strong cabbage scent was produced in a juice that was watery in texture. While the Omega made a tiny bit less juice (not by much), the juice quality was amazing no matter the brand. It is more homogenized, and the color is better (!) In the end, we were able to taste every ingredient perfectly, with the finished product displaying a symbiotic relationship between all its components. Nothing was off-putting about the taste of the cabbage. This juice was so good that I made a second batch with the centrifugal juicer and my kids didn't like it as much, whereas they liked the first one. Compared to the Omega, the feeding mouth is smaller. No longer can we just put a lot of material in the juicer. The problem is that that's not all that There is no doubt that the finished product is worth the effort. My carrots can be cut to the desired length with no problem - If you want red beets or apples, you can slice them or cut them in pieces. My kids can help a lot, so I guess this is not bad after all During cutting time, we feed them to the Omega, while our kids do the cutting. It is fine, I am so in love with this juicer that I even cut items into even smaller pieces that would probably work whole, just to minimize the load on the machine. Moreover, there is not enough room for a large collection bin. A poorly designed discharge system was also present. Despite fitting under the machine well, if you juice large quantities, you have to unload the bin (the height of the machine does not allow you to put taller pitchers under it, and the juice drips while unloading even when the machine is off). To recover from this, you must wipe under the bin once you have unloaded it and replace it quickly, or you will have There are some vertical juicers that have a stopper, so it would have been nice to have one on this machine The fact of the matter is, it is what it is, and we have Omega's cleaning system is much more effective than competing devices. Clean up would take a long time with the centrifugal one. This one isn't for you. My juicer is very easy to disassemble and clean, and I often juice twice per day (morning and lunch) and I am not concerned about the cleaning. I juice and drink the juice immediately, and I never store We were encouraged to juice more frequently because of this aspect! It may not be possible to juice soft fruits with the Omega juicer. The same goes for In the masticating chamber, the mush will just stay. We've learned to live with it, even though it can be a nuisance. I enjoy a juice made of tomato, red cabbage, red beet, celery root, carrot, garlic, and parsley and lovage stems as an example. After I add the tomato, I add something a little more dry like the cabbage, and I finish with the carrot, which will pull everything together. In other words, the centrifugal one has the advantage that it will juice things that we might not be able to juice with a centrifuge. Those who eat leafy greens are Omega's best friends. I love what I don't throw away now though, because I don't waste Keeping all the stems from parsley, dill, beets, etc. and juicing them with other vegetables is a good practice. You can taste the incredible flavor in these stems. In your green juice, add a bit of lime or lemon and ginger. The result will be great! Is there a reason for four stars? We initially got the first one, and when the water ran out it made the whole masticating chamber wobble, and the motor was making a rhythmic noise with it. We thought it was defective, so we It was the same with the replacement. As a result, I can only assume the auger shaft isn't These plastic parts are so much fun! No matter how long the warranty is, it is almost certain that some if not all plastic parts will need to be replaced sooner or later. If you use a printer, remember to do so Anyone interested in a cartridge combo? 1) I'm willing to pay twice as much to have this made from stainless steel! For now, it brought back the fun in juicing, and the final product is just delicious! I guess time will tell whether this juicer will last. For now, I am glad I purchased it. Up to date Nearly 4 months later, we love this juicer still as much as we did when it was new. The app has completely changed the way we wake up in the morning! Because we use it so often, we never put it away, and this became a staple to have It became a ritual in our family to drink the morning juice. I prepare the juice as soon as I wake up Nearly no fruits are used (except pomegranates - a couple times a year) It is a superb company). Although it is not necessary, I dice everything I put in it as it doesn't take any longer than a minute or two. By doing this, the juicer will be 100% self-sufficiency and it will be easier to use. Now that my kids are so used to having their juices in the mornings on an empty stomach (micro-Organic) It is nutrition that goes straight to the vein) that if we are late one morning they ask us for Could you please give me my juice now, Daddy? I'm about to get hungry. You will not find any fruit here! These kids have such a habitual way of being! I like the fact that we won't have waste anymore, which is great Every single thing gets juiced! Our cauliflower leaves and stems from the day before have been cooked now we have the green leaves Our red beet salad has all the stems to juice (we make red beet soup with the leaves) now we have the stems to juice It gets better. You get to do a vegetable stock with all of the Even though they were juiced, it came out great! . . . but what's even better is how good we feel afterward! (Coincidence?) Nobody in my family has a cold since we started juicing (at least, so far). I think maybe, but it's the start of school during this time and these children bring something home usually. This is not the case. It might have just been It gets better! There's more to come! In our home, we have adopted a Paleo diet (I am 100% Paleo, the rest of the family is 75% Paleo). This juicer is less than 6 months old, so I started my Paleo lifestyle 3 months before it arrived. In the beginning I decided to replace 2 meals a day with juice. So I have a pretty large juice in the morning (again, only veggies, and avoiding root vegetables) and one at lunch (I work near home so I can make a fresh juice at lunchtime). As a Paleo dieter, I have lost 45 pounds since I bought this juicer, I have lost 35 pounds! It freaks me out that I have so much energy! As much as I love this juicer, I never imagined we would become so attached to it. Though it is not the best juicer on the market, it still makes great tasting juice. For that reason, I would still rate it as a 4. I have never seen so much plastic! The stainless steel would definitely be worth twice as much to me! The plastic was disposed of - The containers are fantastic (hard to clean) and you can put the juice directly into the It is a pain to clean the mixing chamber as well. Rinsing is what you see in the YouTube videos You'll have a nasty juicer in a few days if you do that a few times. In order to get rid of all stains, you must brush the inside thoroughly. Additionally, the locking mechanism becomes increasingly difficult to use as time goes on I can't get juice out of the back of the plastic o- rings when my kids, whom I call "helpers," press too hard on the tamper. X rings. In the next day or two, if you don't clean that, the locking wheel will be "sticky". There have been numerous times I have had to remove the entire wheel to get it off (a Phillips screwdriver will do the trick in Therefore, it is not all perfect, but I will forgive its faults for the significant impact it has Up to date Now it has been eight months since I purchased the juicer, and it Despite this, there was still one issue In addition to pushing through everything remaining in the juicing chamber, carrots also act as a sieve. I notice that there is some juice leaking between the transparent body and the black retaining nut almost every time I reach the red beet, so that gasket does not work very well. There is always a red beet involved. We got rid of the plastic containers that came with the juicer, as discussed above. For the juice, I use two glass cups. Once one is full, I slide the other under and dump the juice into a stainless shaker (I use the type that looks like a pill container).

When using the motor for the first time, there was smoke! Then read on! This is the first time I have used it, and it started smoking right away
3/5

We will have difficulty returning the product since it is an international purchase and we have no easy way to get support.

For vegetables with a green color, the juicer does an excellent job
3/5

For extracting juice from green leafy vegetables, carrots, apples, celery, and a few others, the juicer works great, but it does a poor job with soft fruits such as kiwi and A simple task was needed to clean it. Although, I can only give it a one star rating since I have had it for only two and a half months and the plastic parts are broken from limes. One of my beliefs is that a product should just work and work for a long time without the customer needing to contact the company for simple things Under stress, I'm not a fan of plastic parts. Those who do not endure simply do not last. It would be a great help if I could return it. The price of an all-metal juicer is too high for me, so I'll bite the bullet and buy one. You should do your research and spend the money you have on a quality product for your health!.

Parts attached to the attachment are of a low quality and are easily broken
3/5

It is highly disappointing that the quality of the components is so low. The screen on the feeder tube cracked after minimal use (they said that was covered under warranty, but I had to pay for the replacement part) and now the black funnel piece has detached from the At the time both parts broke, I was just starting to juice regularly and on a cleansing program. Due to failed parts, I was unable to continue both times. of the attachment pieces are cheap and flimsy and shake when switched My money is being refunded so I can buy a quality machine with it.

I am absolutely blown away
5/5

Juicing has always been a passion for me, so I purchased this juicer many years ago after doing a great deal of research and trying it out. My previous juicer was an inexpensive centrifugal juicer from Target that I used to make juice that tasted bad, separated quickly, and produced a lot of First of all, I lived in an apartment with three other girls in a campus building and felt really awkward about using this machine. It was so noisy that everyone was woken up. In the end, I bought this juicer despite its cost being well above my budget. I do not regret my decision, now that I'm older. I love that it makes juice that tastes really good, which is the primary reason I like it so much. When I make green juice with this juicer, I crave it and look forward to it. When I made green juice with my old juicer, I couldn't stomach it, but I enjoy it when I make it with this one. With its very high quality juice, this product does not separate even when using many different fruits and vegetables (unless you leave it in the fridge for a little while, but you can shake it back together and it stays) and it makes a very small amount of foam. It happens every once in a while that there is a TINY bit of pulp in the juice, but it I also really like the fact that the pulp comes out dry, which I never did with my old juicer, which means I am not wasting my fruits Furthermore, I appreciate the fact that it is just so simple to use and clean, it requires not much effort at all. As opposed to the old centrifugal I had, I find this one much simpler, cleaner, and easier to use. Also, I like the fact that it comes with different plates and attachments. I love the frozen banana ice cream you can make with the blank attachment, it's so much better than when you just put it Finally, I love it because it is SO quiet I can use it during the day and at night without having to worry about bothering anyone, its noise is so minimal that it is perfect for the apartment. To make my favorite juice recipe, I blend kale, romaine, carrots, apple, and grapes together (see picture). In case you are not a fan of kale/green juice, you can add some grapes to it which will greatly improve its taste (I saw this in a video once and it is the best trick I've ever seen).
