Questions & Answers

Key limes, for example, are small citrus fruits. Does this work well on them?

The key lime is not something I have tried. They sell bags of pre-size limes at BJ's (the local equivalent of Costco, etc.), which aren't much bigger than key limes, and it works perfectly By pressing the palm of your hand against the spinning plastic apparatus, you can press down on the fruit. The item is not dangerous, and if you're careful, then you will be okay.

The volume is quite loud, isn't Several different responses can be given. It operates smoothly enough for you to have a conversation?

As long as it works, it is quiet and fast, and it is possible to talk while it is being used. A loud grinding noise began to come from mine after three months, and the turbo function stopped working entirely. A sound like gears were out of alignment could be heard.

With this juicer, must you exert a lot of strength in order to juice an orange? As a result of arthritis, I am in pain. ?

Besides having arthritis in my hands, I also have joint pain in my knees. I'm going to make another 33 jars of lemon curd in February (we spend the winter in Arizona) and will have to juice over 100 lemons with this juicer. It is a very good product, I really enjoy

Do you have a stainless steel reamer or a plastic one?

The pulp strainer is integrated with it, and it is plastic.

It's hard to imagine how easy it would be to juice citrus fruits with a manual juicer
5/5

Citrus juicers were always perceived by me as being for lazy people who did not want to juice their own lemons before I actually saw one in action on TV. There was a mistake in what I said. Juicers like this were featured in almost every episode of the Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network, so now I understand why they are popular. The benefits of using a citrus juicer as opposed to a wooden reamer will soon become apparent. In the first place, when you need to measure a precise amount of citrus juice for a recipe, it is much easier to put a measuring cup under the plastic snap-on lid Using a wooden reamer or aiming your way into the measuring cup, you should use the spout of an electric juicer rather than trying to squeeze into it. Secondly, electric juicers can extract a lot more juice from citrus fruits than a regular lemon squeezer can. Citrus juice is extracted from the Cuisinart citrus juicer in the most efficient way by automatically changing the direction of the reamer. advantage of electric juicers is that, when you are using one, citrus juice does not squirt into your eyes like it does when you use There is also a unique "Final-Step" feature with Cuisinart's line of products There is a "spin" feature similar to that found in a clothes washer. In the spin feature, you press down on the clear plastic lid on top of the juicer after you have taken the citrus off of the reamer, which causes the reamer to rotate fast, allowing the centrifugal force to extract all the juice from the With a wooden reamer, you can't make that kind of movement. Filtering the pulp out of the juice is another advantage of the Cuisinart juicer. Citrus juicers have this feature in most if not all of their electric versions, but not all of their manual ones. Each Cuisinart removable piece can be placed in the dishwasher, so it is very easy to clean. In my last post, I wrote about An up spout was mentioned earlier in this review, but I did not This is basically how the snap-in works With a spout that points up, you prevent lemon juice from splashing on your counter, and that is especially useful if you don't want lemon juice all over your countertops. This juicer is built out of stainless steel, which looks very nice and will last for a long time. Unlike some electric juicers, the Cuisinart's motor isn't all that loud, so you won't have to worry about it interrupting normal conversation. As a whole, electric citrus juicers offer many advantages over manual juicers, and if you are willing to make the purchase, it is recommended that you go with the Cuisinart, as it has a final spin feature and The pros are Please note - "Final-" characters unique to you This is an example of the "spin" feature*- The body is made from stainless steel*- Take a picture. A spout up in the air The juicer is surprisingly quieter than most electric citrus juicers* - It was pulverized Control in general

Cons Please note - I'd appreciate it if you clicked the "Helpful" button below this review if this review was helpful to you. Thanks so much!.

My experience with Cuisinart's customer service has been extremely disappointing
3/5

They simply don't care and it makes me angry. Juicers with this warranty are covered for 3 years. The unit stopped working after six months (and I did not use it much at all). I spent four phone calls and several hours on the phone with them before I found out that it does not have It will cost me at least $10 to send me the new one AND I will need to pay for shipping to return the old one. The cost of shipping could be up to $25 depending on the There is no cost to the product itself! They offered a solution when I asked the customer service representative and manager if it could be done. I did not think it made any sense to spend more on the shipping than the product cost. According to them, it was like In other words, things are as they are. Hence, if you need to find a juicer that actually works, look for this one. This is not the one for you! It was because of its ranking that I bought it. It is extremely disappointing for me. The same amount of shipping is not worth the changes in brands and I'll buy something else. Only to be given the same crappy thing and dealt with.

The only product I will buy from Cuisinart again is a coffee maker
3/5

This was a poor customer service experience. I will never again buy a Cuisinart product. Most Cuisinart products I have purchased in the past have not worked well and I feel comfortable selling them at garage sales. Having owned a Sunbeam for years, I bought this one to replace it. The first time I used this juicer, I really liked it. The juicer spins both ways to extract the maximum amount of juice from your citrus fruit and then goes through a "spin cycle" to extract any remaining juice from Approximately nine months have passed. For the past two years, the juicer has been in perpetual "spin" mode, which has been leaking pulp and juice As Amazon only offers a 30-day return policy, I called Cuisinart’s customer service department. Cuisinart said they would send me a new product if I paid for shipping at about $10 and paid to ship the faulty unit back to them Juicer cost is essentially the juicer's price! There was no apology or apology and generally very poor customer service. The call ended with, "can I do anything else for you today?"? You may click here.

The juicer you have been looking for is here
5/5

The short version is as follows Easy to operate and simple to clean, this juicer makes juice quickly and easily. You can get a juicer like this one if you need The Detailed Review is as follows "What?" you ask. Is it possible that we have lived in Florida for the past year yet we do not It was a lament of my husband's when we visited a local orchard a few days ago and he said, "You could eat in there. " " Take a bite out of an orange. In fact, I ordered it the same day, after searching on Amazon and finding one that had good reviews and was also available for delivery that day. Our next step was to pick oranges and put the juicer to the test. Wow! That is an amazing thing! In my opinion, these two features are my favorites 2) Management of pulp. For my juice, I set it wide open since I like a lot of pulp in it. In order to satisfy the family's desire for less pulp, a simple twist reduces the amount of pulp that reaches It's even better than that. In the first glass I used the low pulp, and in the second glass I used the high pulp to get the extra pulp from the first glass! a so-called "final spin" when all the juice is left in the machine. Put the clear plastic cover on the machine and squeeze it, causing the machine to spin like a jet engine, decanting all the remaining juice to the bottom. (I believe that the complaint that it is too loud is unfounded. Clean up The process of signing up is quick and easy. There is little need for anything more than a flush with running water. Even though I know it can be cleaned in the dishwasher, I don't know if I will ever use the machine. Specifically, we picked and used "Honeybell" Oranges for our juice. It consistently took one and a half oranges to fill one half of a glass (10 ounces). There was plenty of juice in them! Depending on the variety and size of your orange, you will be able to juice a different amount per orange, but as you can see from the pictures, this juicer did a great job removing all Not a single thing remains It will be possible for you to get every last drop of juice from The following is our final recommendation It's just a matter of buying.
