Firstly, why do I like it so much. There is no need to think about it. Lime juice is extracted at a rate of at least three times faster than with a cheap juicer. In addition, it achieves the same result with a fraction of the effort. I am now going to let you know why I am Within 3 days of using it, the handle was cracked. Yes, I realize it's plastic and has the potential to crack, but what will happen Is that true? The container was carefully handled during use in order not to crack, but the seal still broke. It is a very disappointing experience.
It arrived yesterday, and I had no idea the size was going to be as large as it is. The size of the box was a surprise to me when I pulled it out. The machine is capable of handling grapefruit or any other large citrus fruit. There are a couple of pictures of one side by side My 5 qt. is on the side. Here is a scale comparison between a Kitchenaid Mixer and a Bosch Mixer. Assembly was made easy by almost self-assembly I found the instructions to be simple to follow, but they were well written. A total of 5 parts make up the "body" and the rest of the machine. Each of the components - the juice collector, juicing cone, and pulp filter - can be thrown in the dishwasher. Magnetically attached to the top of the machine, the "Fruit Dome" allows fruit to be loaded automatically. I don't recommend you put it in the dishwasher because it is hollow plastic. What I really like about Breville is the fact that its products typically don't have to be assembled in more than one way. If you do not assemble the components in the proper way, they will not fit together properly. So excited was I that I could not wait to get this baby and try it Looking for anything I could stab into this contraption, I dug around the refrigerator. I pulled out a rogue lemon floating around the crisper drawer and decided to sacrifice it to the experiment. It was plugged in after I took out a length of cord from its storage area under the body of the machine. This handle has an on/off switch on the back so that it can be turned on and off in the process of positioning and setting Using the juicing cone, I set the lemon halves on the cone and pressed the lever with my hand. My old grandma's juicer in my youth was a loud and noisy appliance, so I was really expecting it to be the same. There was a pleasant sense of quiet when I entered! It is possible to take a fresh juice early in the morning while everyone is sleeping! My hands became fatigued as I tried to finish the job so I flipped the water spout upward and grabbed all of the pieces with one hand to throw away. My hand press does not leak juice, and nothing splatters on my kitchen floor like when I use it. After two weeks of waiting I decided I couldn't wait to try my new recipe out. So I rushed to the local Publix to buy the limes I needed for Cinco de In order to have enough lime juice for one recipe, I usually need 7 or 8 limes, so I bought 18. The amount of juice that was extracted surprised me! The amount of juice I got was impressive for 18 apples, but I am used to getting less in a hand press, so I was impressed with the amount I got! The past few times I have used a handheld press, I have never had left over lime juice. It will take me a bit of time to work through the rest on my menu for the week!
I still find it surprising how quiet it is here. It was for my sister that I took the video. Because my nephew is special needs, he has trouble hearing the loud noises from appliances (such as a vacuum cleaner, Kitchenaid mixer). There is probably no impact on him as this will be a quiet event. I'm shown at the end of the video sitting on the other side of the kitchen with my Bluetooth speaker. As the press is running, you can still hear the BBC in the background. It gives me hope that I might be able to juice fruit for my brunch or at parties without losing my place in There is room for a large array of containers under the machine, and I was pleased to see that it was possible to place them Lemons were measured in a tall plastic cup of about 20 ounces, while limes were measured in a measuring cup of about 4 cups. Their height is the same, and both fit well. Their other impressive feature was how they removed every bit of pulp. I enjoyed it because it was easy and didn't cause any mess. Fruit had no pulp in it! It's no longer necessary for me to dig my fingers into lime halves to obtain the maximum amount of juice! I wish the arm/handle of the machine had a locking switch to make storage easier in the future. <extra_id_9>br>
The only disadvantage so far is the lack of a locking switch. If I accidentally get the arm stuck on the underside of my cabinets, I will not realize until I do some serious damage that I have done. Having seen this press for the first time at Williams-Sonoma, I was intrigued by it My jaw dropped when I heard that Breville charged so much for the Sonoma. When I saw the price of the device, I thought, "Why is that so expensive?"? There's something seriously wrong with them! As much as I hate to eat my words, I now eat my words with a side of Spanish Rice. Over the last six months, I've purchased 3 Breville products from the brand (Milk Frother, Smart Toaster Oven, and Citrus Press). Throughout, they have done a great job. They were exactly what I was looking for! I only regret that I waited so long before I tried
An Update after One Month It has been useful for me to use the press 5 Since getting it, I have used it six times. In the beginning, I was worried that I wouldn't want to use it for a lemon or lime. Cleaning it up is so easy, and extracting juice is so quick, that I find myself using it more often than any handheld press I could get my hands on! This thing still holds a special place in my heart!.
This was followed by a breakdown. In this review, I will be referring to the one I bought again. Although it is a beautiful machine to look at, the parts are now plastic instead of metal In addition to harming the planet and its life forms, plastic is also detrimental to human health. The whole situation irritates me a great deal. 30 percent of our oxygen comes from the ocean. Stopped by plastic, the ocean will be dead. If we breathed 30% less oxygen, it would be similar to breathing in a closed room. Wouldn't it be better if the planet earth had 30% fewer oxygen than it does now? We need to stop producing plastic items. Put an end to the sale of plastic products. Please let us know that they contain plastic so that we can decide whether or not to purchase Until the next juicer is made, I will buy it in a local store instead of online, so that I can at least see the materials it is made from. Definitely no more shopping online for me!.
I just am not getting the same kind of quality as with the original that I bought years ago. It was all metal and very Several parts of this machine are made of cheap plastic, including the arm, which is prone to bending sideways. It was a very disappointing experience. I am not sure whether this is a genuine Breville product. I hope that it is not simply a Adding to Anthology In the process of looking for another one, there was a miraculously available one in Mexico, where I currently live. My friend gave me this one. This product should not be purchased!.
I noticed cracks in the body of the machine, which is a little over a year old. Cracks can be seen where the handle attaches to the base of the handle. Breville did not respond to my email several weeks ago I did not get an acknowledgement that my message was received. may have appeared before the end of the warranty, but since they did not appear earlier, I did not notice them. Having left it too late was too costly. At the end of each year, it is customary for these machines to break down. It has been a good year for Breville, but it could have been better.
There is no better juicer than this one! After purchasing my first juicer in 2011, I have now purchased four more since then. In addition to making orange juice for breakfast every day, I also make it several times a week, and every other orange juice maker I've owned has been cheaply made, very loud, With this Breville juicer, you'll be sure to be whisper quiet and well-fed I designed it. It makes juicing nearly effortless because the press arm makes it possible. Invest in a high-quality pair of earrings in the long run and save money Instead of multiple cheaper Breville machines which will break, purchase one quality Breville machine.
Just over a month ago, I bought my juicer and have been using it nearly every day My morning routine includes zipping up oranges for OJ and cutting up lemons to make lemonade and add to iced tea. I love how easy it is to use and on juicing lemons - You can remove just the tip of the pointy ends if they are pointy and make them flatter by cutting just the tip. So there will be no juice left in the bottle. 1) It seems to be pretty solid. Although I am gentle on the handle due to its plastic composition, I do not think there will ever be a.
The product should not be purchased. It was such a good machine that I bought it again. The project was completed in less than 2 months. I decided to try again, same problem, so I went back to try I do not recommend it. Sadly, this is the case. Using Breville products is great and I have used them before, but this one does not fit my recommendation.
