Questions & Answers

What are the distinctions between K- and K+? Elite vs. K575: who will win?

Both of the machines you're interested in belong to me. The following are the distinctions: The "Keurig 2" is the K575 model. 0" machine, an optical detector is used to prevent the use of non-standard inputs. k-licensed The reservoir on the K575 is larger. The K575 can use the Keurig carafe as well as the larger pods (which sounds like a plus, but finding those larger k-cups is a challenge). (With the exception of the internet, cup pods can be found anywhere.) A color digital display is included with the K575 model. br>br>The K-Series br>br>K-Series br>br>K Elite is a company with a strong reputation. The altitude brew setting, on the other hand, is a much simpler machine that appears to be built rock-solid. solid. br>br>Of the two machines, the K- is my favorite. It's smaller and quieter than the K575, but not by much. Plus, without the DRM, it's a lot easier to work with internally. It is, in my opinion, the best Keurig machine for home use that has been built to date. And if you shop around, you might be able to find this unit for as little as $125, which is significantly less than the K575.

Is it possible that the k- Non-elite machines are accepted by elite machine. keurig branded (not keurig marked) k- cups, and make coffee with these non-descript non-descript non-descript non-descript non-descript k- with a brand cups?

Yes! This isn't a "2" Keurig machine. Keurig is a coffee maker with a capacity of zero ounces. There are no DRM restrictions, so you can use whatever k-content you want. This machine is similar to the older Breville BKC700XL machine, with the exception that it has a separate button for each cup size, as well as options for "iced coffee," "strong brew," and "high-powered brew." brew brewed at a high altitude

Is there no touchscreen available? Why did you take a step back?

It's a waste of time. I have a K575, which has a touch screen, and I believe it is much easier to use. In addition, there will be no fingerprints on the touchscreen. One of the things that I like about this machine is how simple it is. Is it really necessary to pick a wallpaper for your coffee maker's screen as well? br>br>However, if you want to be able to tell the time by looking at your coffee maker, which you can do with several of the Keurig 2 models, you can do so easily. 0 machines, despite the fact that the K-series machines are Elite has a digital time display that can only be seen from above when looking down on the machine. If that is important to you, this machine may not be the best option.

Is it possible to program this to brew a cup of coffee when it is turned on in the morning? So when I get out of bed in the morning, my cup of coffee is ready and warm?

Smart Start heats and brews in a single step. There's no need to wait for the brewer to heat up before choosing a brew size; simply turn it on, add coffee, and choose a brew size; the brewer will heat up and begin brewing automatically. br>The clock allows you to set an Auto On time; however, because the unit heats up in 45 seconds or less, and I only brew one cup at a time, I never use the Auto On (timer). br>A cup of coffee takes about 60 seconds to brew if this unit is turned on and warm. Having this coffee brewed before you are awake and ready to drink it is a waste of time because it may be cold by the time you arrive. Unlike a drip coffee maker, there is no pot or warming element. There isn't any need for one. To begin, press the start button, butter your toast, and savor your steaming cup of coffee. The large reservoir, which allows you to make eight or more cups of coffee without having to refill it, is a major time saver. br>The K elite will revolutionize the way you make coffee in the morning. It's just that simple.

THE WATER DOESN'T STOP COMING OUT
3/5

WHAT A BLOCKBUSTER! WATER LEAKS - SAME PROBLEM WITH TWO KEURIGS OF THE SAME MODEL! We bought this to replace a Keurig original design that we'd had for years and whose pump had finally failed. This Keurig model, which I purchased 29 days ago, had leaked water from the brewing spout all over the counter, down the cabinet, and onto my wood floors when we awoke. Amazon was fantastic, and the same model was replaced the next day. The new one occasionally leaks. Even with an extra cup under the dispenser, we now wake up to a flooded counter on a regular basis. There will be no coffee served to you. Just get rid of everything! In the off mode, it will leak, and the auto-on feature is hit-or-miss. I'm extremely disappointed! br>br>We contacted Keurig customer service, and they assured us that we would be taken care of. Great customer service, and after admitting to leaking issues on a batch of serial numbers, Keurig is sending a new machine free of charge, as well as an email with a coupon for two free boxes of Kcups. I have to say, Keurig went above and beyond to resolve the issue and make it right. I should get a new Keurig in a week, and they said the leaking problem has been resolved, so I should enjoy the new machine.

Our 6-year-old K75 is a far cry from this
5/5

K75, our 6-year-old, recently passed away. The air pump on it failed, as is common with those. So I looked into the new ones and decided on the Elite after reading several reviews that claimed it produced weak coffee even when the strong brew setting was turned on. I decided to go for it because there were so many positive reviews. I can't help but believe that those who complained about the coffee being weak were attempting to brew a travel mug with a single coffee pod. Later in the review, I'll explain why I believe this. br>Let's start with the physical characteristics of this machine, which appear to be of much higher quality than our previous one. The Elite's bale is made of metal rather than plastic, whereas the K75's was made of plastic. It runs smoothly and has a solid feel to it. The water reservoir is significantly larger, and the sliding attachment system is significantly improved. It is extremely simple to put on and take off. Because the drip tray isn't as tall as the mugs, you can fit taller mugs underneath it without removing it, and removing it is simple and quick. On the left side, there is no longer a water reservoir to get in the way. So, on the outside, I think the Elite's design is far superior to the K75's. br>Now, let's talk about how well the Elite brews coffee. It's a cup of coffee to die for. The best cup of coffee we've ever had from a Keurig! So, to begin, allow me to provide some context. We don't use the coffee pods because we don't want to add to the amount of plastic in landfills if we don't have to. We buy whole bean coffee and grind it ourselves with a high-quality burr grinder, then use the "My K-cup" system. Pod". For coffee grounds, there are two fill lines. My wife and I like our coffee strong, and we use a dark roast, so we filled the My K-Cups with regular coffee and the My K-Cups with travel coffee. Set the Keurig Elite to strong brew and then select the largest mug size, which says it's 10oz. Fill the pod with coffee to just below the travel mug size. This resulted in a cup of coffee that was extremely strong and flavorful. Our old K75 couldn't do anything like this. We tried the same thing with our K75, even using a smaller cup size, and still couldn't match the strength of the Keurig Elite. I wasn't thrilled about having to buy a new coffee maker, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, and we are extremely pleased with our purchase. This will not disappoint you, especially if you prefer to grind your own coffee. br>As a result, I'm thinking that some of the one-star reviewers were using regular coffee pods, possibly with a light or medium roast, and a large cup size; of course, I don't know for sure, but one-star reviewers rarely provide any details in their reviews. There is only one sentence and one star. If you want good coffee, grind it yourself using a good grinder and the My K-Cup. Pod. You have more control over freshness and grind quality, as well as the ability to put in more grounds than with a standard K-cup. Cup. Follow the instructions carefully, making sure not to grind the coffee too finely, not to overfill, and not to compress the coffee grounds. You should be able to get rid of the My K- (Make sure the lid is on when you do this. ) Pod and hear them moving inside. If you can't make a good cup of coffee out of this, something is wrong with you.

Water Leaks, Keurig Support Is Horrible, But Other Than That, It's a Good Buy **updated 7
4/5

The reason for the two stars is that it leaks water from the dispenser area into either the cup you have under it or, if no cup is present, into the tray and onto the counter. I bought this to replace another Keurig that I took to the office, and I really like it for the most part. It's not a huge amount, perhaps an ounce or two at most, but it seems to happen more frequently. When the reservoir is full, this happens a lot. br>br>I've contacted Keurig and have received ZERO customer service response (which is very disappointing), and it's been well over a month since I inquired. I considered returning this unit to Amazon and having a new one sent to me just in case it was my unit, but I don't have the original box and I don't want to deal with the hassle of shipping it back, explaining the situation, going through Square Trade (if necessary), and so on. br>br>For the time being, I'm just 'dealing with it,' unsure if I'll remain a loyal Keurig customer in the future. br>br>I sincerely hope you have better luck with your purchase. Again, it's a fantastic K-drama. Single-serve cup appliance - Aside from the vexing leak and the less-than-pleasant smell, than- If you ever need to contact Keurig, they provide excellent customer service. **Updated 7. br>br> 18: I changed the star rating on this review from two to four today. br>br>Following several attempts and finally receiving a response from Keurig's customer service via/because- I had to call Keurig again to explain the situation after I submitted my Amazon review. They acknowledged that this 'leaking' issue was a problem with many of the earlier units and agreed to replace mine; as of today, I've received email confirmation that the new unit has shipped and will arrive in a few days. A paid shipping label for the Keurig I have to return was also included. br>br>For me, this is exactly what I had hoped for in the first place, and I appreciate Keurig taking the initiative to resolve the issue. The reason it's still 4 stars instead of 5 is because it took a lot of effort and time on my part to get this recognized, and I still don't know 'for sure' that the new device won't have the same problems. br>br>If the new one is still a leaker, I'll update my review. to inform potential purchasers once more If all else fails, remember that "no news is good news. ".
