Keurig K-Duo Coffee Maker, Single Serve and 12-Cup Carafe Drip Coffee Brewer, Compatible with K-Cup Pods and Ground Coffee, Black

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box-- Two boxes of pods and a bag of ground coffee were stuck to the top of my test machine. I had no idea it would include coffee to get me started. br> Looking inside the box, this appears to be a small, compact machine that will fit in the space I have on the counter. My old Keurig K-cup brewer is about the same height as this one. 40 single-use plastic bottles Just a little wider than a shot machine. When it came to putting the machine together and washing the parts, I was a little disappointed that a higher-end model was not available. A reusable filter basket was not included with a high-end machine such as this. Before I can brew a pot with grounds, I'll need to go to the store and buy some paper filters. I set the clock, rinsed out the water reservoir and the pot, and began the process of doing a cleansing rinse of the pot, following the instructions in the included booklet. I set it up and walked away from it to do other things because the instruction book said it could take 4 minutes to heat up the first time to run the pot of hot water. When I returned an hour later, the white light was still blinking, but there was no sign of water brewing. I unplugged the machine, reset the clock, and restarted it in order to brew a pot of water only. This time there was a strange delay in the brewing of water. Is it possible that there was an air bubble in the water line? In this first test, the amount of water used was eight gallons. brewed almost 9 cups of water on a cup setting? Is it because I had to start it from the beginning? I'm going to try a new test brew and see what happens. The test brew number 4 on the pod side seemed to work fine, but the second test pot still produced nearly 9 cups, so perhaps they're accounting for the amount of water absorbed by the coffee grounds? br>Once you've gotten everything set up, pressing the on button and having it heat up the water to make a quick pod for a cup of coffee in a matter of seconds is a breeze. br>I made a pot of coffee to brew after my next trip to the grocery store to buy paper filters. Brewing an 8-ounce cup of coffee took about 7 minutes. It appears that they were accounting for the water that remains in the coffee grounds, as the water levels on the pot appear to be correct. br>When you're working with a single-page document, I like that there are multiple settings for how many ounces you want in your cup, as well as a'strong' button if you're in the mood for an extra-strong cup of coffee. a sturdy cup When using the pods, the machine heats up quickly and you can have a hot cup of coffee in less than a minute after turning it on. br>After a few weeks of use, I must say that I like it and would recommend it to anyone who requires a double-sided tape. For pods or a full pot, this is a heavy-duty machine.

Keurig coffee is one of my favorites, and the single serve is just as good. The carafe, on the other hand, is a complete letdown. Pouring coffee from the pot without it spilling all over the counter is nearly impossible. This appears to be one of the more fundamental design flaws, which is unforgivable. Furthermore, it appears that maintaining a consistent coffee quality from pot to pot is difficult. I replaced the $80 pot with a much better one!.

This coffee maker produces excellent coffee. From the supplied glass carafe, it also dribbles coffee all over my counter and floor. It would seem that a company with such a good reputation could design a coffee maker that is more user-friendly. The single brewer is used for evening pleasures, while the glass carafe is used for everyday use. I guess they focused all of their research on single-serving brewers and didn't put as much effort into the standard coffee maker, because I wouldn't buy this model again if I had to.

Duo is a machine that combines the best of both worlds into one small package - a single-serve brewer that fits our largest travel mugs, as well as a large glass carafe drip coffee maker We've been using the Keurig 2 for a while now. 0 for a long time, which was fine on weekdays when my husband and I made our coffee at different times. - Our tallest travel mugs, including those that would never fit in a Keurig 2, fit perfectly in this single-serve brewer. 0, as well as the largest ceramic coffee mugs we have. br>- The glass carafe has a large, easy-to-clean opening top.
- When turned on, the system warms up quickly (albeit louder than the Keurig 2) 0 was)br>- - - - - - - - - The "strong" button on the single serve portion allows you to make a stronger cup of coffee.
- 12 cups of coffee can be made with the drip coffee portion.
- The water reservoir is spacious and simple to empty.
- The small size allows it to fit under a cabinet easily. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- The water reservoir is located on the back of the machine, and unless it is near the edge of the counter, you may need to spin the machine around to turn it on and off.
- In comparison to previous models, the water reservoir appears to be smaller.
- Instead of a menu of pre-programmed options like our Keurig 2, the controls require a pattern of button pushing. It's simple to understand, but if you're rushing out the door and forget to press the'start' button, the machine will fall asleep on you and will not make your coffee. (This is a minor quibble of mine, but just a reminder to make sure you hit the "start" button and hear it brew. ) )
- The machine's buttons and controls are located on top of it - If you have low cabinets or something over the device, these controls may be difficult to see - keep this in mind when placing the device. The front back is my favorite. The Keurig 2 is displayed on a lit screen. This device comes without any basket style coffee filters for the drip coffee/carafe side, so you'll need the 12-pack. br>br>A few other things to note are that this device does not come with any basket style coffee filters for the drip coffee/carafe side, so you'll need the 12-pack. Filters with a maximum capacity of 15 cups are available in basket style. There was also mention of using a water filter in the reservoir, but no filter or filter holder were included with this device, whereas our previous Keurig 2 had a filter holder and a sample filter. The Keurig Duo comes with 0 machines but no filter items. br>br>Overall, this new Keurig-style coffee maker appeals to me. So far, there's only been a Duo device. After so many years of using single-serve Keurig machines, it just takes a little getting used to. So far, it's worked with every single one of my k-cups. cups, as well as our k-cups that can be reused. We have a set of reusable k-cups that we use to put loose coffee in. Cups with protruding pieces on the sides that wouldn't fit in the Keurig 2. Machine with a value of 0.
