I am not sure if it is Plastic of a very hard consistency.

So far, I haven't had to deal with leaks at the top. Especially when you blend, it seems pretty locked in

There is a pulse option on this. Ice can be crushed very well with this machine. The blender I have is the second I've owned from KitchenAid. This one appeals to me a lot more than the previous My new ice crusher crushes ice better than the one I had before. I agree that the lid is hard to remove. The following nbsp When this blender's done, it can shave off a ton of ice, and it still turns out a great smoothie. You can see my video of how to make a quick and easy smoothie that all kids enjoy. The colors are not blended

There was a week between the return date and my arrival. Nevertheless, I was so frustrated and upset last night when we attempted to use it again for the fourth time (we have used it just 3 times). Kitchen Aid is always my favorite, but this one is a no-go for me. It would be great if I could give 0 stars.
And by the way, I never take the time to write reviews, so writing this is quite an accomplishment for me.

The stuff is good

I was surprised to see that it has plenty of volume, but it looks smaller than I expected. I assumed it would be a smaller product but it is actually more than adequate. The blend is seamless and powerful. There are attachments that can be purchased that click on to the base, according to the manual. You could also get a mini blender, a food processor, or a citrus juicer.

She really likes it after her old blender gave up the ghost. Bought it for her when her old blender died. Ice cream malts blend like there is no tomorrow in this cocktail.
