This replacement part is perfect. I found that after few months of using my 8 quart Ninja Foodi (FD402) on the pressure setting, the pressure valve would not shut, and steam kept escaping so much that it never reached As a result, I decided to try and see if it was just the pressure valve that had failed, and not the whole lid, and got this replacement valve, which was listed as fitting all 6qt and 8qt Ninja Foodi products but not FD402, I was able to turn this thing on and do the pressure test shown in the manual. It worked great! I pressure cooked a turkey breast a couple of days later, and it turned out to be great! The valve I purchased is a replacement valve for the FD402. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to others.
I ordered it since the reviews were good. The seal did not work, which is a disappointment to me. When it is in the seal position, steam comes out. A single task is all it is capable of doing and it fails. For it to seal for 10 seconds, I have to constantly press down on it Wash and rinse again. You should repeat this process several times. Keeping the original would have saved me from throwing away the cosmetically damaged copy.
DO NOT BUY! This is a dangerous product! A valve has come to me for my Ninja. The first time I used it, it worked. The second time I used it, I released the A vacuum was created, but nothing A piece of silicone in the valve rose off in my ninja, creating a highly unsafe situation.
This appears to have been thrown out by the kids. Anyhow, I was hoping to have to wait 10 days for this valve to arrive and had to rethink my week's menu since I use the PC every day at least once. 2 days later, I was pleasantly surprised to find it at my door. When I checked it to make sure that it fit, it did fit perfectly and is identical to.
This cap was a much loved Ninja cap of mine, and I was devastated when I lost it! Although that is a bit dramatic, I actually use this Ninja almost every day and I can't easily afford to buy a replacement at the moment, so I'm super happy that I was able to get this replacement. The original works exactly the same as this one!.
The 2nd one I ordered was lost and I couldn't find the back up I ordered when my first one went missing. My pain did not get worse due to the pricing. I appreciate it!.

It was delivered yesterday and seemed to latch onto my Ninja better than the original that I melted when I accidentally air fried it and failed to realize it was there. A big oops! In spite of that, this replacement is fantastic. As a result I won't need to store this part inside the unit again, so I won't repeat the same mistake.
