My old pot looks so much better with the new design. The reason I bought this was because I was giving an extra pot to a friend and hadn't found mine. As I have a few pots and my larger one has a different regulator, I need to replace it. They don't go completely bad, but they might still get lost as they move. You should therefore store the regulator in the pot rather than separately if you move around a lot. The one I ordered won't arrive for a while, but I had to wait for it.
It was lost during our move and I searched all over for it. Exactly as it looks in the original. The fit is perfect. If I ever lose it again I'm coming back here and purchasing one of these! I am super happy with how well it works and how cheap it is.
I use this with my Sears cooker canner, and it works perfectly.
In my kitchen, I have a Presto pressure cooker 23 quart. I thought I had lost the other one the other day and delayed canning for a few days, as I assumed I had lost it. It wasn't until I found the one I had thought I lost that I decided to order this one so I would have an extra just in case I did lose the pressure canner nozzle.

Therefore, I decided to go with the Presto, since it had reasonably priced replacement parts. I'll take 10 dollars. It was my intention to buy a Pressure Regulator so that she could use the pressure cooker This is a very reasonable price to pay to have a backup Just in case you need it, set up the regulator.
The new one works perfectly and even better than the old one, which was shaped like an hourglass. Those presto canners will fit nicely inside this. The product is great. The price is great.
