In the first place, there are all the obviously fake reviews and then there are the ones complaining that the brand is no longer good since manufacturing moved to China (which is almost all of them), and then there are some reviews that seem honest, but are posted mostly by people who drink There are no reviews of that type that are useful for me, so I'm writing this for other people who use their food processors like I do. I use my food processor for almost Most days, it gets used multiple times per day to mix mayo, make nut butters, make meat and vegetable pates and purees and, of course, shred and mince vegetables. It takes a lot of effort to process this much food with a cheap food processor In the past few years I have burned through a number of low-quality CDs The top-end models that have received excellent reviews from people who use them less intensively (e. g. , on a daily basis). As a food processor is the strongest tool in my kitchen, I appreciate spending the money for a good one, but I want it to last. I was also concerned about the issues mentioned by other reviewers, especially the tricky mechanism of the big pusher and Since it was one of the best reviewed food processors on a lot of websites and articles, and it had the same reviews as the Breville, I decided to go for the Cuisinart Elite. In case it might be necessary, I also bought the Square Trade protection plan. My standard policy is not to buy extended warranties, but this time I thought it would be smart to do so. There has been some discussion about the tricky food pusher mechanism in other reviews. Despite its tricky nature, it is likely to represent my first point of failure, but I think it's okay, in part because I have been extremely careful with it because of It goes in after I do the washer so I don't have to put it away until after I wash so I can dry it and reinstall it immediately after it is dried. My other concern was the water in the handle, which has been mentioned by other reviewers. I haven't had this happen to me so far. There is something very pleasing about the way the bowls are arranged. Small containers can be used to make mayonnaise or sauces that, if made in large bowls, would require a lot of scraping and result in a lot of waste when transferred to storage containers. A small bowl like the one above looks very functional, but it has one major flaw The upper interior of the shirt is covered with short ribs that are about one inch long. It is hard to scrape the rim of the bowl since it is 5 inches around the edge. This is not a deal - The ease of use of the ribs would be greatly increased if they were encased in an interior space rather than protruding into the work area. Having a big bowl of soup has no issues. It's nice that you can leave the blade in place while pouring and the pour spout is easy to use. Cleaning around the seal on the inside of the lid and the crevices on both the inside and outside of the lid is a bit challenging. My goal is to reach those hard-to-reach places with an old toothbrush that I keep under the sink. The issue has been resolved. In addition to being heavy, the base is also extremely thick Making things like nut butters that require a great deal of processing can be advantageous because you can walk away and not worry about the machine wandering off, but it can be a disadvantage if you have to move your machine from the counter to a storage space. It is too small in my kitchen for me to leave appliances out on the counter, so I put mine in the lower cabinet, and lifting anything up and down is problematic for people with mobility issues. The other complaint that came up in earlier reviews was about it being difficult to know whether the lid is securely attached before turning it on. I'm not finding that to be an issue As soon as contact is made, a click can be heard. There are two places where you have to press - There are two areas--the handle and the spout Capsules must be locked in place in order to function. You only need to hear the clicks for everything to work. * The lid of this food processor is easily released by simply squeezing the buttons on the handle and gently pushing forward

My purchase of this machine occurred on December 28, 2017, and I have been using it since then It has been used 15 times, mostly for prepping hummus or chopping a few vegetables. The controls on it did not work last week after I pulled it out of the cupboard. I have used up all my minutes- After nearly an hour on the phone, I found out that I have to pay $40 shipping to get a replacement base for the phone. My experience with Cuisinart has been very disappointing. I own six of their products. We've already bought seven of their appliances, but we won't buy another one until we consider it carefully. Customers have a horrible experience with their customer service.

In the early 1990s, I left home for the first time and have only owned two food processors since then. My Cuisinart processor had a 7-cup capacity, and it lasted until 2015 when I had to buy this one because the blade on the previous one started coming apart (a recall had been issued, and it could have been fixed if I waited a couple months). It seems that I keep them for almost 20 years, so I thought I'd purchase a nice one. When it works, this is a great device, but the bowl is made of cheap, thin plastic that breaks easily. Almost nothing holds the top in place except for a very small tab made of plastic. This tab broke off in two pieces after a couple of years, and now the bowl and lid will not close. You have to hold them down in order for the machine to operate. A replacement I looked into says it comes with a three year warranty, and they told me that "parts" weren't covered. Could you please explain what that means? There is a 10 year warranty on the motor, so what is the purpose of the 3 year warranty? My wallet is empty after purchasing a new bowl and lid for more than half the price of a new machine. Sorry Cuisinart, I have given up. Having a food processor that is backed by the manufacturer will be my next purchase. A customer for life has been lost to you.

I'm not a fan of Cuisinart because I think they don't provide good customer service and they expect you to pay for sending back a product that's still under warranty. I took a shot at this one because it had everything I was looking for. My hope is that it lasts because I love it so much. I like how quiet it is, how big it is, and how you have two work bowls. The gasket was not removable, so I read some bad reviews about it not being able to be cleaned well, but they have listened, because the gasket is now removable. Besides being quiet, I also like how it looks. My heart just flutters when I look at I consider it to be a perfect combination of everything you could possibly desire. The system is extremely powerful and I expect or rather hope that it will remain so for many many years to come. In the event that something goes wrong, I will notify you as soon as possible. It is so cool that it has a slicing blade that can be adjusted as well as reversible shredding, along with the small work bowl. As opposed to my old one that leaked, this one is airtight, and I appreciate the fact that the blades don't fall out when you tip it over. I had to be careful of it on my old food processor. As well as the pouring spouts, I love the curved lines. It is my hope that the best will happen, but I will update if necessary.

I used it maybe 5 times before it died on me It took less than a year for 8 of those instances. I was not pleased with the situation, as you can imagine. If it hadn't broken so soon, I would have attempted to return it, but I have lost the packaging and receipt. I decided I should buy a better brand with quality behind it after my bad experience with Faberware. Various reviews of customer and product opinions showed that the best products were the Breville BFP800XL Sous Chef Food Processor and the Cuisinart. The Cuisinart Elite collection with 1000 watt motor was the best choice for me since I was afraid I couldn't believe spending $400 on a food processor (after the only experience I had was with Faberware products). One of the most useful items I've possessed in a long time. Next to my Kitchen Aid Pro 5 stand mixer, the EZFirm is one of my favorites. to see how the brands differ. Just the sound difference alone made me want the Cusinart. The power, the ability to make tahini like nothing and the quality of materials make it a far superior product. I wish I never wasted $70 on the Panasonic. It is better to buy better branded products when you require power. In truth, if I had known before I would have just bought this first and not the Cuisinart.
