There is a price to pay here, but you get what you pay for

An A-. I know it should cost less, but there is a good reason why I bought the Blentec and continue to recommend it. We experienced a problem with the clear center of the lid melting in the dishwasher, and had to buy a Thus, I spent $20 on a $1 bill. I'm in the 50th part. However, my blender is back in action and is performing as if it was brand new. Even saving as much as I could, there is no way for me to go back to the days of cheap throw-away clothing Keep blenders away from the kitchen.

It is unsatisfactory

This item was damaged when it arrived. I could not for the life of me keep the plastic piece in place because it was broken. While I was making my smoothie, I ended up with a mess. A plastic piece shot out of the top of the blender and the small plastic pieces fell into the blender, making a horrifying noise. There is no way for me to tell if it damaged my blade and dulled it. I was charged a restocking fee one penny less than the original purchase price when I returned the item.

I would like to recommend this As the lid was wrong on the blentec I purchased from another store, I was able to get the perfect replacement from Amazon without the hassle of returning it

Keeps you close and allows you to breathe! I purchased this lid to replace the soft lid that came with my jar

In this blender, I frequently dripped butter, oil, and coffee all over my counter top when I made hot bulletproof coffee. The soft lid was prone to blowing off occasionally. One of the best ways to contain jars is with a lid that locks to the top, and the vented feature allows for an even spread of pressure.

Taking off the lid should be fine

Initially, I thought it was a design issue but it seems to be a more common occurrence when the blender is turned on. The lid of the blender had to be held over my head when I turned it on.
