With a capacity of 120 oz (2 pots), we can focus on the guests rather than worrying about coffee. But there's more to it. The adjustable spout means no splashing around the server area, and it keeps the coffee hot for a long time. Pykal products are known for their sturdy construction. Well-designed and constructed. Stainless steel is a long-lasting material that is also very easy to maintain.
I drink tea from a 24-hour teapot all day. insulated mug with a capacity of 8 oz. When my mug is empty, I usually heat some water. I can heat water once in the morning and have piping hot tea whenever I need it with the Airpot. Because my mug is tall, I swivel the Airpot toward the sink and fill it without a splash, thanks to the handy pull-out spout. nozzle directed downwards Also, because I have essential tremor, I've spilled a lot of water trying to pour it into my mug from the microwave. This is a problem that the Airpot solves. I heat the water in my stainless steel Pykal teapot and pour it into the Airpot for continuous hot water throughout the day. I can fill my mug with a single press if I press the button firmly. br>br>I prefer stainless steel for items like this because odors are easily removed. The inclusion of a cleaning brush is a thoughtful touch that demonstrates Pykal's commitment to customer satisfaction in the design of their products and packaging. The Airpot has a nice weight to it and appears to be well-made. I didn't realize how much I needed it until it arrived, but it has greatly simplified my life!.
As a result, I consume a great deal of caffeine. The K- is my favorite. Cups, but I also travel a lot, and I was looking for something I could put in my truck with some minor car maintenance, so I could carry coffee around and have it stay warm while also being easy to dispense. That's where this carafe comes in handy. It holds a lot of coffee and keeps it warm for a long time, plus it's simple to use (just press the pump button!) and distribute. When you're not using it, you can push the spigot in and lock the button, making it nearly impossible to spill or make a mess. br>br> It also aids in the dispensing of coffee from various sized mugs. br>br>It came with a handy cleaning handle and sponge, similar to a Swiffer but for cleaning rather than dusting. As a result, it's simple to keep clean when you need to, even when you're on the go. It's also surprisingly simple to disassemble and clean. br>br>I really like this unit, and it has held up well even after being tossed around in the oil fields. I can also use it to fill a thermos if I'm leaving the truck for an extended period of time.
I recently used them at a holiday event, a hot cocoa buffet, and they worked flawlessly in terms of keeping the drinks hot and dispensing without a mess (not even a spill while traveling). br>br>The locking lid is very effective at preventing you from accidentally pressing the release button while moving the Airpot around. Because the raised black printing is a little subtle for those handling the Airpot for the first time, I used a paint pen to highlight the lock/unlocked markings. I also like that I can clean the tube and seals separately so that nothing gets clogged up. br>br>I only gave it four out of five stars for ease of cleaning because the top of the pot, where it curves toward the neck, is a little difficult to clean. It is very easy to rinse for coffee, tea, or hot water, but that part did want to hang on to the film from hot cocoa until I used a stiffer bottle brush that I have on hand for reusable travel mugs. It is very easy to rinse for coffee, tea, or hot water, but that part did want to hang on to the film from hot cocoa until I used the bottle brush. br>br>Overall, I've found that this is the best travel container for transporting large amounts of hot beverages to events.
I wasn't let down at all! In the morning, I filled it with coffee from my coffee maker (I didn't boil it or anything, just brewed a pot and poured it in, then added cold creamer). On a day when the temperature ranged from 12 to 18 degrees F, I dispensed one travel mug of coffee right away and then left the Airpot in my truck. At my break a few hours later, I dispensed a second travel mug full of coffee, which was still steaming. I dispensed one last cup at the end of the day (12 hours later in those cold temperatures) to see how warm it was still. I was expecting lukewarm coffee by that point (cold temperatures outside plus only half a carafe left). I was caught off guard. The coffee had not yet reached room temperature! It wasn't quite boiling yet, but it wasn't lukewarm either. This Airpot did a fantastic job! br>br>Another benefit of this Airpot is the cleaning brush that comes with it. Without the brush, cleaning the inside of this Airpot would be difficult, so including one is a great idea. To clean the spout, there's even a small spout cleaning brush hidden in the handle. br>br>One point to keep in mind when using this Airpot: I needed to dispense my coffee off the side of my tailgate to fit my tall travel mug under the spout because I was using it for my tall travel mug. This Airpot is designed to hold shorter mugs, such as Styrofoam cups, rather than tall travel mugs. Because they use styrofoam cups for coffee and tea, I'm going to give this to my church to use during fellowship times. In that situation, this Airpot would be ideal! br>br>One minor improvement that could be made is the ring on the bottom of the Airpot that allows it to turn. The ring is made of plastic, and instead of turning, it slid across my counter a little. It could be due to a slick counter top, but I believe that if this plastic ring had a rubber bottom, it would do a better job of keeping its grip on the counter top and allowing the Airpot to turn. This is a minor point, and I did not deduct a star because of it. I needed a container to keep my coffee hot for a long time in cold weather, and this Airpot is perfect for that!.
