It already has a filter built in. This is how coffee is made. The ground coffee is placed in the filter, which is then inserted into the carafe and filled with hot water. But I just sat my V60 on top of it and it's perfectly stable. It's simply unnecessary because it's designed to brew and store everything in one place:

It's not even close to being "thermal. " ”. This is a stunning carafe. I'm sure it'll make decent coffee or tea, but that's not why we bought it. You can use it as a pretty server, but don't count on it to keep food warm. My coffee was barely tepid after only an hour or two, and this was after pre-heating it. putting hot water in the pot! br>The next day, my old Thermos carafe would still have hot, or at least very warm, coffee. This is not at all what I had hoped for from this product. br>On the plus side, it will look great on the table. The button for dispensing is one of my favorite features. Because you can put ice inside, maybe cold things will keep better; just don't call it "thermal," because that's misleading!.
Attempts to keep coffee hot but fails! My glass Thermos Carafe (no longer made) broke, so I bought this to replace it. It served us well for 50 years, and we were sad to see it go. Despite its attractive design, this carafe fails to keep my coffee as hot as the Thermos: Drinks stayed hot all day thanks to the mirrored glass interior! Following the manufacturer's instructions, I was able to achieve the following results: Waited 10 minutes after filling the new carafe with boiling water and securing the lid. Then I emptied it and replaced it with a freshly brewed cup of coffee. I had a cup of coffee in the morning. 20 minutes later, I had another cup, but it was only warm, not hot. After less than an hour, I was only slightly warm. After two hours, it was no longer drinkable. I used it for four days, following the directions to the letter each time. However, the unit fails to keep drinks warm. Fortunately, I was able to find a glass-lined carafe on Amazon. com. It functions flawlessly, much like the old Thermos; keeps our coffee hot throughout the day br>br>I'm sorry, but I don't think this product is suitable for anything other than a fancy pitcher. There is no way to retain heat.
After purchasing and falling in love with my 50oz lagom, I decided to purchase the Venera thermal carafe. I have another thermal carafe from another brand that holds the same amount of volume (68oz) and it feels very big and bulky for everyday use, so I expected to feel the same way about this one. In person, the venera is sleek, elegant, and beautiful, much to my surprise. It holds a surprising amount of liquid considering its size! Thermodynamic performance is excellent; I love the strainers because they keep my tea at my preferred temperature for about 3 hours and are still warm enough to drink after about 6 hours. The mesh one is ideal for brewing my green and oolong teas, which require space to expand in order for the flavors to emerge. I'd love it if they were sold separately so I could stock up! I would like to see improvements in the following areas: 1. Over time, the wood on the handle begins to peel, 2. It's difficult to clean the area where the plastic and metal meet, and it's easily stained by tea and coffee, and 3. While the heating is adequate and keeps the food warm for several hours, I have another carafe that can keep food warm for twice as long. I'm hoping that the Hastings carafes will catch up in the future. Having said that, the Hastings carafes' minimalistic design is unrivaled. They're as attractive as they are practical and useful. Despite the fact that some of my other thermals keep liquids warmer for longer, the Hastings thermals are still my go-to. to be used on a regular basis and is highly recommended by friends.

I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but if something becomes too time consuming or difficult to use. You simply don't use it any longer. br>Recently, I suggested to my husband that he serve coffee or tea at his team meetings. He was hesitant because he didn't have enough time or energy (which is something that everyone nowadays lacks). He relented, however, when he realized he really wanted to express his gratitude to his coworkers in some way. I was looking for something that would be simple to use and versatile, as well as something that would blend in with the office's lines, and this product stood out right away. I'm happy to report that he was also happy to leave it in his office because the carafe's modern lines appeared "MANLY enough" and didn't scream "woman's tea party" lol! Needless to say, I'm very happy with this lovely carafe.
I was overjoyed to discover this larger carafe because it's the ideal size for holding a pot of coffee when I'm entertaining. These carafes are incredibly versatile, thanks to the two included filters. I can make brewed coffee, cold brew coffee, and tea with them.
