It's a good idea for Macgyver to make sure the glass isn't touching anything else in the d/w if it's superheated. We've heard it can happen that way with over 6000 units sold. If you touch something else while the dishwasher is superheated. The Crush Club team appreciates your time and effort.
We tried it ourselves and had excellent results. We measured both carafes and found that the results were millimeter for millimeter identical. The CCC Carafe is about 3 ounces heavier and we know it is fire hardened, despite the fact that they are both the same size. Many Chambord 34oz users prefer this CCC carafe to the original carafe, and the majority are pleased with it. Thank you for contacting us.
I had the same problem with my Bodum French Press in terms of size. I compared the dimensions of the beaker provided on Amazon to the dimensions of the press across the top and depth (where the glass beaker goes). Easy; The measurements were spot on.
Hello, We were impressed by how well organized and efficient the factory near Ningbo, China was when we visited. They are a significant supplier to the Nordic countries - According to Google, the United States has the world's highest coffee consumption. We witnessed firsthand how they manufacture and finish each carafe, and they were one of only two factories we found to use the furnace "Fire Toughening" process at the end, which involves placing all carafes on a roller table that runs through a massive furnace the size of a house. As a result, a broken carafe in the d/w is a rare occurrence, and many customers purchase this carafe because it outperforms the norm in terms of daily use.

This replacement caraffe doesn't have to wait for someone to break it, which is convenient. It cracks without warning and without any apparent cause! br>br>Even before I realized it had a built-in self-cleaning system, I was impressed. I thought the thing was fantastic despite the fact that it was a breaking feature - Imagine my surprise when the glass hauled off and cracked itself on the third day. br>br>attractive, good fit, nice 6 oz cup markings, etc. br>br> It was minding its own business as it sat on the counter. Suddenly, without warning, without even a sidelong glance, crrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr The deed had been completed. The French press was rendered useless once more inexplicably and magically. br>br>There's no need to drop, smash, or crash anything. There's no need to reach for the highest note. A crack that is completely automated! What will they come up with next? br>br>The Autocrack 2019br>.
This product gets three stars from me, but I only get one. I'm having no luck with glass French presses, but I'm not willing to put up with the degraded quality of coffee made in a plastic one. br>The first French press shattered when it fell 3 feet from a table to the ground. This will be the third one, and it should last (unless it catches fire and sinks into the swamp). br>br>This replacement carafe fits neatly into my old French press, and all of the other items that I had before work with it. Because I've only had it for two days and only made one batch, I can't say for sure how long it will last. br>The only drawback is one that I've noticed in a lot of these French presses: and that the measurements are never in a place where you can see them while pouring water into the carafe. If you don't mind this, you might like it even more than I do.
) My previous carafe had broken, and while I was tempted to buy a new set, I didn't want to waste money by discarding perfectly good hardware. This glass fits perfectly in the old frame, and I'm relieved that I won't have to throw it away. I'm not sure how far down the plunger went in my old beaker, but it reaches about 3/4" from the bottom of this beaker, which seems about right in terms of grounds room. I enjoyed the reading materials provided, and they even emailed me a pdf with some detailed brewing instructions, which I found very interesting. (Who'd have guessed I'd been doing it incorrectly for years? It also included two additional screens, which was a nice bonus. It has some measurement markings on the side, which I don't think are necessary but are a nice touch that my previous beaker lacked; I've only recently received it, so I can't speak to its durability, but it appears to be as durable as a glass beaker should be. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this glass replacement.
It fits perfectly in the Bodum cradle and even came with two new screens, which I really like. The seller is quick to respond to questions and concerns, and he recognizes the value of a satisfied customer. This product, as well as the seller, comes highly recommended by me. This is, by the way, my first Amazon written review. I don't usually post on the internet, but I felt compelled to do so in this case.
I had this glass replacement for only a few weeks when a small hole cracked through the bottom edge of the container as I barely touched the bottom while stirring (with a metal stirrer) 100 grams of grounds. I've had no problems using wood, metal, or plastic stirrers. However, I'll continue to use the bamboo stirrer that was recommended. If you use the oz measurements, that's great; however, please make the white and dark letters the same price, as this glass is thicker than the original Bodum and will be replaced as needed. However, if I have to buy another one after this one, I'm thinking of going all stainless! Despite the thickness and cleanability, I still gave it four stars. And I believe it is a better value than most for the price; however, after this incident, I have deducted a star for durability.
We broke the original glass from our Bodum French Press with copper metal frame, then replaced it with this product, which we also broke after a while, so I bought two more replacements this time. These replacements are thicker than the originals, but they fit the metal frame perfectly, and they also came with replacement plunger screens, which is a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to replace an original glass carafe.
Have you ever broken something and had to buy a new one? That's how I've always handled French presses (though I have broken a few). When my carafe broke the last time, I was adamant about getting a new one. I got it here, tada, tada, tada, t It also comes with three replacement filters, which was a nice touch, and I'm glad I only had to replace the glass rather than the entire pot.
My over ten-year-old La Cafatiere french press's glass had cracked, and I was looking for a replacement, but it appeared that finding one made of glass without plastic parts was difficult. I'm so glad I found this; it's a perfect replacement, and it even has level markings, which my old one lacked; The included screens are also better than my original screens, with a finer mesh and better edges than mine. I was able to save some money and restore my French press to its former glory.
