It's not something you take away; it's something you keep. It fits into a slot in the back of the hinge. The metal bar is what keeps the pot's top in place.
The lid, which is a lever action lid, is sold separately on the product page.
No, they are not, and we used them in a café where they lasted about a year with daily use.
Yes, it is correct. I've purchased a few of these for the same three reasons. Airpot for 8 bunnies.

Update: br>I raised my rating from one to four stars after discovering that the top was not actually defective, as there is a part with a gasket and metal stem that goes down into the coffee. The stem fell out of the gasket when I took it out to wash my pot. The top worked perfectly after being properly replaced, but the suction had been lost, making it difficult to press the pump. br>br>I purchased this to replace a top that had become difficult to pump and then stopped pumping altogether. This top is doing the same thing after just a few months. I'm having trouble pumping my coffee. This is a huge disappointment. This item is not something I would recommend.
The pot will last a lifetime, but after two years of continuous use, the plunger on the lid loosened, affecting the baffle (pumping) strength. When we discovered that we could only replace the lid, we were able to save money. We quickly replaced the lid on our first batch of brew- Our second pot's lid needed to be replaced as well, so we saved money once more! No set- Due to the availability of this lid, there will be no setbacks. I'm going to get a second one as a backup. While they're still available, you should take advantage of them.
This was purchased to replace the one that came with the original airpot. It's either a MUCH better top, or our old one had gradually lost its pumping capacity, which we didn't notice because it pumps much more with each stroke of the pump handle. When we first tried it, it was simply amazing. It was definitely worth the money.
It works perfectly on my Bunn air pot 32125, which was a relief because I ordered it before giving it a thorough examination. With daily use, the old one lasted about ten years before it abruptly stopped pumping.
Here, the lids are the true show-stoppers. They were purchased for my coffee shop to store our fun whip cream toppings, but the staff asked if we could also store all of our mocha powders in them because the lids are so easy to remove and replace. It also has a good seal. That concludes my enthralling tale of a container.
Yes, it is a high-quality item; however, you sent me the incorrect dispenser. You sent me the pump you pressed down on, not the one in the photo. The problem was that I needed it yesterday, and it was the right size for my dispenser.
Unless the pot is 1/4 full or less, it makes a squeaking noise.
