Questions & Answers

How does the cotton get to the store? In addition to stainless steel and glass, what will happen to them?

A small village just outside of Zanzibar provides the cotton for the garments. Keeping ethical and honourable to the plant, the villagers pick each individual piece of free range cotton by hand, without gloves. In Great Gobi Mongolia, stainless steel is mined by hand with a shovel and pick, using the most current best practices of organic mining. The glass is harvested from the parking lot behind Denny's in Havre, Montana, where it was found locally.

Can you tell me the thread count of ?

There is no way to tell the actual count, but I can tell you it's Although I used fine ground beans, I have had zero grounds end up in the brew with this method. This type of rotor is very easy to use and very easy to clean.

What is the length of time you've used the Coffee Sock? I was wondering what the lifespan is like, as well as how well it holds up to everyday ?

Our use of the coffee socks has now lasted for nearly a year. It took me a couple more days to buy two more jars, so we make three at a time. I estimate that I make three jars every seven days. There are 9 days left. Despite their durability, the socks themselves still appear to be in good shape. Using boiling water, I removed a small amount of residue from them recently. I hope that was helpful.

Do you need to steep a strong tea for a certain amount of time? According to some reviews, there can be a delay of up to three days. ?

In order to brew two cups of tea faster, avoid steeping the tea in the refrigerator. You should leave it on the counter for a week After chilling for 24 hours, set it aside for 24 hours.

It works great, I would highly recommend it
5/5

Making cold brew at home has never been easier with this sock. It is easy to do - just grind the beans, pack them into the sock, bloom (sweat) them, close it, and leave it in a pitcher of filtered water over night. You just have to take the sock off in the morning. You don't need to use paper filters or strain multiple times to get all the grounds out. This is what I found in I find this ratio to be the best for making cold brew concentrate - I like it as follows A strong statement. It has been mentioned in the past that some people make hot coffee out of the concentrate, as well as iced, but I haven't tried it. Summer is the time when I prefer iced coffee, especially during the hotter The cold brew method does not produce acid because it is not heated Because the beans never come into contact with heat, brewed coffee never loses its flavor. In addition to bringing out the true flavor nuances of beans from different regions, slower, cold extraction techniques also allow for an easier extraction process. By using this sock, the whole process becomes much simpler. It's definitely worth checking out!.

I recommend this product for its simplicity, travel ability, and ease of use
5/5

I have done two of these. My first one I used continuously for 5 months (with each batch lasting approximately 5 days) while on a trip for work. I found it to be extremely effective. There was no clean water available or anywhere to rinse the sock with between uses, so I had to improvise. After pouring the fresh concentrate into an empty water bottle, I turned the sock inside out and soaked it in my small pitcher several Ninety-five percent of the grounds seemed to be removed in that way. hung it to dry from a carabiner using the metal ring on the bottom of the sock (which proved to be a helpful feature). My method was to fill the pitcher with fresh water every few batches and soak the socks in it for 24 hours to get them cleaner (somewhat). Having returned home, I have decided to get a new one for my next trip, though I am sure it would have continued to work for many years to come. I brewed a cold brew that turned out well. While I don't have any trouble using this at home, I usually make a larger batch of toddy from a pot I've been using The only downside is that it isn't conducive to long hauls simply roll the invoice up in a screw-on envelope and tuck it in It is a top-of-the-line plastic pitcher that is easy to travel with.

You can buy it just like that
5/5

I found this to be very effective. It is exceedingly difficult for me to make coffee because I am incredibly lazy. All I want is for my hands to be extended, and then I will accept the offer. I'll be honest, this takes a bit more work than that. In my half gallon mason jar, I measured 4oz of coffee, placed the coffee sock inside, flipped the top around the rim, poured in the coffee grounds, folded it closed, and placed it in the This is all there is to My cold brew tasted great 24 hours later. One of the best parts is that it does not let any fine coffee grounds There is no reason to have grit in your mouth. This drink has the same smooth flavor as the first. I highly recommend it. It goes on and off easily and dries quickly as well.

This is a sustainable, easy-to-use product

My obsession with brewing cold brew started a few summers ago when Aldi sold cold brew pouches for pitchers. I just love this product. My first choices were Dunkin' Donuts pouches, but they didn't come back, so I went with those. They tore as I tried to remove them from the narrow hole in the pitcher, and I ended up with a messy Also, the plastic packaging that I had to throw away every two weeks did not appeal to me. This product had been on my wishlist for some time and I finally purchased It took me some time to find coarse ground beans, but I found Cameron's brand had a coarse ground for cold brew exclusively! There's a vanilla hazelnut flavor to it, I believe. Followed the directions on how to pour some into the filter. A beautiful print that came out so smooth. The bitter flavor does not exist at all. The aftermath of cleaning wet grounds from the weird shaped filter is not the most pleasant part of my day, but the taste of my coffee makes it worthwhile. Not having to go to Starbucks is saving me so much money, and I feel good about my environmental impact since I'm not buying coffee there.

It contains no fines, sludge, or anything of the sort! When I used the metal strainer and filters I had a lot of troubles getting fines out of the cold brew

While I did not want to start over with a brand new system, like another name brand cold brew system, I knew I could save money by keeping it. A "CoffeeSock" has come to my attention through research I did. After a quick search on Google, I came across this site. The only thing I have to say is that I'm ready to buy another one so I can have a cold brew going at the same time. It's a must have if you're going to make cold drinks.

In order to get the best coffee flavor, I brew it in socks
5/5

Here are a few words about the CoffeeSock. I LOVE ROCK. It has been on and off for years that I have searched for a simple and lightweight way to brew iced coffee. It's a great relief to get my hands on this little beauty, no matter where I looked because I wasn't looking hard enough or in the right place. was able to communicate with the creator of this product and receive a reply in less than a day about which one to I wouldn't recommend everyone bother him/her (they are probably busy making socks), but it was helpful to have the right one before I made a brew from it. A container was ready in just a few hours after I got it. A simple, delicious recipe that you can make in no time! Follow the directions that come with it since you need to prepare the sock for brewing before using it the first time. As I mentioned, this is easy to use and I love how portable it is, unlike rigid metal inserts or other devices. Share the word that this sock really does deliver as well as it was.

The ground is free of sludge or grounds! Before, I used a metal filter on another cold brew system, but couldn't eliminate the need for extra filtration, but this one works just fine
5/5

It's simple and easy to use, and I am getting no fine sludge or grounds in the brew. There wasn't a lot of cleaning to do-- Remove all grounds and oils from inside by turning it inside out. It will be interesting to see how it holds up over time There is a feeling of durability. This fits perfectly into a 64 oz mason jar. My measurements and brew time need to be better, but I was able to brew one batch of concentrated coffee and one batch of regular coffee with one sock full of grounds.

The brewing process is easy and hassle-free
5/5

I have tried so many cold brew methods and this one works best for me. Compared to other types of coffee grinders, toddy brewers seem picky in terms of The mesh in steel mesh bags and many nylon sack bags are bad at preventing sediment from getting through. This sock gets wet, is placed in my 64 oz Mason jar, and I alternately fill it with coffee grounds and filtered water, then close it up and either put it in the fridge for 24 hours or let it sit out on the counter for 12 hours. No matter what, in the end I have a fine brew concentrate with very little to no sediment and a sock which I can easily clean and reuse year after The best time of your life.
