It's not even close to being a viable substitute for a Vitamix
3/5

I had a three-year-old Vitamix, and we must have left a box of kitchen items behind in our old house because when I unpacked at our new house, there was no blender and none of my high-end Wustof kitchen knives. It's a painful lesson to triple-check everything. This blender container was supposed to be a replacement for the one that had gone missing. It doesn't blend mylks smoothly, and it doesn't do a good job with smoothies. When I came home from university, my friends complained that they had made fruit smoothies separately and that the ingredients were still separated. Up until that point, I assumed it was because of my difficult greens-only smoothies. I also made tumeric mylk, which I used to make all the time in the original container, and it washed up beautifully. This new container bled right away. br>The blending mechanism isn't up to snuff. The container's material isn't up to snuff. It functions similarly to my mother's Oster, which can also produce smooth nut or seed mylks or smoothies after soaking for 24 hours.

I wish I'd known about this a long time ago
5/5

My Vitamix 5000, which is nearly identical to the Vitamix 5200, is what I use. It came with a taller blender jar, which I had been using. Because I'm short, I find it difficult to add foods through the top opening and use the tamper. That issue is resolved by using a smaller jar. What I didn't anticipate was the improved blending. That's right, the Vitamix is more efficient at breaking down food. This caught me off guard. It's possible that this is due to the fact that more food is closer to the blades, and the blades themselves are larger. Whatever. This is fantastic. It appeals to me. If you're on the fence about it, don't be. It's well worth the money.

This is SO MUCH BETTER than my Vitamix's standard 64 oz container
5/5

This is SO MUCH BETTER than the standard 64 oz container that came with my Vitamix when I first got it! Cleans up easier, blends smoothies better, scrapes batters easier, and finally fits under the counter! This purchase has made me extremely happy.

This is a perfect match
5/5

My wife left a metal spoon in the container, which not only ruined the spoon but also cracked the old blender after only a few seconds of running. Because we use our Vitamix on a regular basis, replacing the container was a necessity. I'm not happy with the price of a new container (I could buy two new cheap blenders for the price of one new container), but it is what it is.

We ordered this as a replacement, but keep in mind that you should not put it in the dishwasher. That's how we rusted out the bottom of the original and cracked it.

It's the ideal size for my Pro 750
5/5

My container has a very low profile, which I really like. In 2013, I purchased a vitamix (pro750). Last year, the original container was unfortunately cracked. I found this product on Amazon and bought it because it was listed at a reasonable price at the time; however, the item I received was used, and I noticed the socket was damaged, so I returned it. I was concerned that the model would not be suitable for the Pro 750, but it appeared that it would, so I repurchased the same model for the same price ($119). I had hoped to avoid receiving a used item, but this time I received a brand new container. Yes, it is ideal!! The socket appeared to be brand new when I examined it. It didn't have the same strange burning smell as my previous purchase when I used it. So far, everything has worked flawlessly, and if you're looking for a container for your Pro750, this is it!.

It's ideal for use in under-cabinet applications
4/5

For small batches, this isn't the best option. I was given this low-cost item. I bought a profile container for my Vitamix 5200 because I thought the wider base would be better for smaller batches because it would expose more surface area. I was completely incorrect – It's preferable to use a taller, narrower container because it keeps the ingredients closer together. Buying a smaller container would be even better, I suppose. However, if you want to keep your blender on the counter or under your cabinets without sacrificing capacity, this container is still the better option. Because the blade assembly is permanently attached at the base, it is just as easy to clean as the tall container with hot water and soap.

It'll fit under your upper cabinets! I've had my Vitamix for a few years and it's still in its original container, so it'd never fit under the upper cabinets
5/5

It now fits thanks to the lower profile design! It's also easier to get rid of thicker sauces and hummus. And it's a lot easier to clean! Love it!.
