In the photographs, there appear to be two different shades of blue. Is it more like the first photo, which is a greenish blue, or the second photo, which is a more vibrant blue? a pale blue, perhaps?

When I first saw this spoon rest online, I fell in love with it because I like whimsical designs, and this one fits right in. The spoon rest is well made and of a good size. If you drop it, it will shatter, so take care when washing and handling it. Because of the shape of the whale tale, I did not give the product five stars. It would be more accommodating of ladle handles if it were just a little wider. Aside from that, it's very cute and reasonably priced. I'd give this as a gift without hesitation.

It's the perfect piece for my kitchen, which I'm redoing with a beach theme. It was used to dress up the table for my Mother's Day party. It appears to be well-made and durable. I put it in the dishwasher and it came out with no chips or anything. It's the ideal complement to my kitchen, in my opinion. Go for it if you're considering it.

This cute little whale makes me happy, and you'll get exactly what you see in the photo, with no surprises. I haven't had any issues with spoons or forks resting on it, but it is shallow, so measure before ordering if that is a concern. I don't use a spoon, so I don't have any thoughts on the subject.

On my stove, it looks absolutely adorable. If you live on the coast or rent a home. For your big spoon, you like it this wide. My large stirrer fit perfectly in my large stirrer when I made spaghetti daisies the other day.
