Good buy! It has a great appearance and can be used in a variety of ways. Sauces were served at a sushi party, jams were served at brunch, nuts and olives were served with cocktails, dried fruits and chocolates were served after dinner, and there were many other applications. The design is very appealing and goes well with the rest of the serving pieces. Good buy. It appears to be quite pricey!.
br>br>PS Use these to make individual chip dips.
Looks exactly like the pictures, was well packaged so there was no risk of anything breaking, and has performed admirably in the dishwasher thus far! I can't say enough good things about this product, and I even recommend it.
My friend teased me about getting these because they looked like his mother's dishes. He advised that I should have ordered newer blue-colored dishes, but I prefer the look of these classics. They bring back childhood memories for me. This is ideal for my dipping sauce, which includes chili oil, cilantro, ginger, and garlic. br>br>These dishes have a flat design that is ideal for dipping without submerging. The sides are just tall enough to keep spills from happening. They stack nicely, but chipping is a concern. Overall, I really like these and am looking forward to using them for a long time.
I'm glad they came in a pack of five because I already chipped one in the dishwasher. The dishes can be washed in the dishwasher; However, I didn't do a good job of positioning one. These plates are even more beautiful in person than they appear in the photo, and they're the perfect size for dipping sauces. Because there are no markings on the bottom of the dishes, I'm not sure where they're made, despite the fact that they're Japanese in style. I like the size and quality of the ceramic used in these small dishes, and I give them four stars.
These have a wonderful vintage look to them. If you don't want to make soy sauce, use them to make a small side dish like cottage cheese or fruit. The bowls are made of ceramic and hold a single serving.
I don't have a dishwasher, so I can't test them, but they do well when hand-washed. Dishwear is very nice.
Lovely little dishes with a tan background and red, brown, and white speckled design. We use them for soy sauce, but they could also be used as prep bowls or for other dipping sauces. The scalloping adds a nice touch. These are simply a lovely set, and despite the fact that they don't go with any of our other dishes, we always look forward to bringing them out for sushi night. Although 5 is an odd number, it does correspond to the set of 5 chopsticks that we received, so it's all good. )br>br>S. )br>br>S. )br>br>S. )br>b.
