Keeping it short and sweet: This set of dipping sauce dishes is very nice. It's well-made and serves its purpose well. So far, it has performed admirably, and I have discovered no flaws or difficulties in operation or workmanship, with the exception of minor scratches on two of the five dishes in one set and one dish in the second set that I ordered. Despite the scratching, I ordered more because the finish is far superior to any other set I've seen or tested. The colors are stunning, and each bowl is one-of-a-kind. This is an excellent product; best of luck with your search.
These are exactly as expected in terms of quality, but they are extremely fragile; I'm ordering 5 more to replace the broken top plate on the stacks. Something that wasn't properly packed on top of them? I'm not sure; all I know is what I'm looking for.
Thank you very much!.
This is exactly what I was looking for when it came to Sushi nights.
They're a little flimsy, as one of the ten I ordered had a small chip on the rim but no visible packaging damage.
These small bowls are ideal for dipping sauces of all kinds, and they can be used in a variety of ways. ingredients for baking or cooking, as well as a variety of other uses They're a little smaller than most ramekins, which can be a good thing in some cases. My kit arrived in a box with a large bundle of foam and masking tape. The most difficult part was getting through all of the foam and tape to the dishes without damaging the foam, as I planned to wrap them back up the same way they came for the time being. The food deep within that quagmire was found to be of good quality and relatively faultless. They make me very happy.
I bought these to use as spoon holders at my coffee and tea station, even though I'm sure they'd make great sauce holders. I was concerned that they wouldn't be the right shape, but they are; the colors and pattern are vibrant and complement my countertop perfectly. The spoon fits perfectly in the flutes and stays put, preventing a smear on my counter. To make cleanup a breeze, I put them in the dishwasher. Perfect.
Individual dishes would be fantastic with these. They're especially good for dipping sauces like soy sauce and other condiments. You could also use them to serve an amuse bouche. They are all different in terms of color intensity and pattern, making them one-of-a-kind. Some people have a distinct pattern, while others don't. They have a glazed finish and are extremely easy to clean. They're also not particularly slim. If you don't drop them on a hard surface, they appear to be in good shape.
