If you fill it to the brim, it will hold 12 ounces. br>In 2014, I got mine. It appears that earlier mugs were slightly larger, based on comments on other websites.
In addition, it can be used in the microwave. I'm not sure if I'd bake it because the recipe doesn't say so. However, we adore it. It's been the centerpiece of our performance. It's stunning!
The dinner plate is 11 inches across, but it is not a flat plate; it rises slightly, so there will be no gravy spillage. The flat center section measures approximately 7 1/2 inches in length. You can, however, fill the plate to the brim. These are some of my favorite dishes.

These are my favorite foods! I ended up with a total of 20 cups, as well as two full sets of dishes and two separate pasta bowls. They are both beautiful and powerful! Rustic in nature. Are they capable of being sophisticated? rustic? They are, in some way.
My patterned stoneware dishes had worn out their welcome. I needed a new set and wanted something simple because there were a few chips here and there. The creamy white color is very appealing to me. They have a solid feel to them but aren't too heavy to handle. I also adore the coffee mugs; in the past, when I've purchased dish sets, we've usually given the mugs to Good Will due to their shape or size, but these are fantastic! I liked the first set so much that I bought a second set so we wouldn't have to run the dishwasher as often and for when we have visitors.
The size of these bowls is ideal for a variety of uses. Salads, shrimp and grits, chicken and potato salad, beans and rice, kid's food, pie, and ice cream have all been prepared with them. I'm on the verge of giving away the majority of my plates; ) We've had 8 of these bowls (white ones) for a few weeks and they've held up beautifully, with no signs of wear. Royal Doulton, on the other hand, seems to know exactly what they're doing. I'll probably order another 8 so I can serve two courses in the bowls to guests. My husband is thinking about placing an order for them for his restaurant. If you're on the fence about buying these bowls, go ahead and buy them! I'd give it a higher rating if the options for returning a broken item weren't so limited; I don't want to pay to return the item; all I want is a replacement for the broken piece.
I believe they are of good quality in general, but I only received them today. The only way to find out is to wait. The plates are a little more than an inch thick. I'm not sure I like it, but at least my Marsala sauce isn't going to spill! A plain white set lacks personality, but I don't think it will show too much if they chip. These are taking the place of a black-edged Gibson Overseas "Chroma" set. On those, chips looked really bad. br>br>The issue is that one of the mugs arrived shattered. The four mugs are used to reinforce the corners, thanks to the manufacturer's packaging. That appears to be a terrible plan. I've never packed hollow mugs or glasses (they're always stuffed with packing paper and wrapped), and I wouldn't expect them to support the weight of the box if placed sideways. If the box is turned on its side or knocked over, the mugs have a slim chance of surviving. br>br>My initial reaction was to return it, but Amazon informed me that it was not eligible for the A- rating. Z promise, or something along those lines. Furthermore, it is cheaper for me to simply lose the mug in terms of time and frustration. I can just buy a new one and call it a day. br>br>There are a lot of positive reviews, so I don't think this is a widespread issue, and I'm not criticizing the product or the company. There must be a better way to pack the set; it just goes on my list of stupid problems to have.
I got her this set for Christmas because she never did. She was ecstatic! They have a very elegant appearance and appear to be long-lasting. I say long-lasting because she packed them in the original box in her suitcase and flew them home! They arrived safely, and she sent me a photo of them being used on Christmas Eve. In these bowls, her food looked stunning. She can also put other things in the serving bowl. A fantastic purchase! This set comes at a fantastic price, and I would highly recommend it!.
I looked for a white everyday dish set for a long time. It's all over now. I needed to get rid of my heavy, chipped '80s stone wear and replace it with something more light-weight. My wrists were killing me from lifting the heavy old plates. These are elegant, dressy plates. They don't weigh as much as stone wear does. The color is not blue/gray, but rather a nice crisp white with cream undertones. They have a fine china appearance to them. They look brand new even after a year of heavy use. There isn't a single blemish or crack on the surface.
