They aren't quite as big as they appear. I believe it was about a half-inch too short in length and 1/2-inch too short in width. They were 3/4" shorter in width than they claimed.
I wanted to put water in them, but I wouldn't have been able to carry a gallon of water in them because they were so flimsy and small. I know the dimensions were listed in the description, but I still expected them to be larger.
They were used to hold the cut up tomatoes while I was canning them.
Mealworms and darkling beetles are two of my favorite creatures to raise. These bins can be used for both. It shouldn't be too big or too deep. They are ideal for my requirements. I'm going to place another order.
The quality is good, but the size is limited.
