Yes, one of our customers also uses our warmer in this manner.
Yes. However, you'll need some water on the bottom, as well as corn.
I've never used a liner before, but if it's one designed for hot use, such as a sock liner, I'd use it. It's possible to use a crock pot liner.
We don't sell the lid separately, so your best bet is to contact Sybo and inquire about a replacement part.

With the exception of the lid, my employees adored this soup pot. br>The lid is flimsy and inexpensive. It's tough to serve out of because of the lid. br>Would have given 5 stars if it hadn't been for the lid, which reduced it to a 3.
It was ideal for my brunch gathering. Although we do not have access to a stove at this location, the soup pot was a welcome addition. During the entire event, the grits stayed warm. I think this was my best purchase.
It also served as a nice magnetic sign holder. The lid is the only thing that is strange and wonky. It has a hinge, but it doesn't latch onto anything, so the hinge is ineffective because the lid simply sits on top. The small photos in the manual didn't help explain the lid, either.
This item, I'm sure, would be ideal for keeping soup warm for some people. I was ecstatic about the item's size when I was placing my order. The product's details were a little sketchy. It came up as an option when I looked for large crock pots. It was extremely simple to return it with no issues. Giving it one star because it should not appear in a search for a large capacity crock pot because it is unfit for cooking.
This is the one we use in our restaurant, and it has proven to be the best warmer so far. 👍.
I bought this item for a church function; it's a good product with no issues, but it's smaller than I expected. It's not big enough to hold enough soup for 40 people. It would have to be refilled several times if there were 50 people in the room.
When heated, it has a smoother surface and does not sweat or become hot.
