For years, I've worn these while working in a greasy mechanic shop. It's a great pair of gloves that I used to be able to get for $10-$15. $12. br>Price gouging gets a two-star rating.
I'm on my tenth box and have never torn through these. Now, as for the cost, a hundred pack of these is normally $10! I could understand if they were $20 right now in our situation, but $40? I'll never buy again because of this price gouge; the gloves are great, but the price is outrageous!.
The issue was that they sent me a different size than I requested, and the price was nearly double what I was used to paying. By charging so much, I think they're taking advantage of the covid shortage. And, I suppose, they do it with the shipping and handling price so that Amazon doesn't notice. In any case, I didn't have a choice but to purchase them because I needed them for work and couldn't find them elsewhere.
The cost of good gloves has skyrocketed in recent years.
meat, in particular. The gloves are probably a little too nice to be used once and then discarded. They are, however, very durable, and I've noticed that some mechanics use them in car dealerships. Because of the Covid issues, we keep a box in the car when we go to the gas station. Again - It's far too good of a golf to be used only once.
Because I work in the vitamin industry, I was able to try these out before purchasing. Over the years of working at this company, I've had the opportunity to try a variety of brands, and I was so impressed with these that I purchased them for personal use. I use them to handle and read my comic books, as well as for food preparation and cooking, as well as for painting and pastel hobbies. I'll admit that I used the pandemic as an excuse to purchase them in the first place, as my wife was perplexed as to why I was spending so much money on disposable gloves, but there was a significant mark-up. For some reason, it's going to be higher in the second half of 2020. However, one box will last me about a year, so the price isn't too bad. They're more than tough enough for my personal use, and they've even held up in a more physically demanding production environment.
That was not what I had requested. They're not black; they're a bright green color. These are not made of the same material and are easily broken and ripped. In addition, I use them on mechanical devices that I can't feel, such as the black ones I ordered. I am dissatisfied with the items that were sent.
There are many black nitrile gloves available, but they are flimsy and tear easily. These are a little thicker, but not so much that you lose feeling in your hands. It's great for mechanics, but it's also a solid choice for PPE in the event of a pandemic.
