I can work on machinery all day without getting my hands dirty because I'm wearing the best gloves I've ever worn. br> They don't rip easily, but it depends on what you're working on. I can use them all day, wash them, and reuse them for up to three days. When you use brake kleen, they tend to swell up. And while you can use them in parts solvent, the gloves will swell up as well, so it's not recommended.
incredibly large They aren't XXL, but they aren't claiming to be. I'm a big guy with a lot of muscle. I have a hard time fitting sleeves (38 length), hats, gloves, shoes (extra wide), and other items, but I can work with these gloves on without difficulty. Every time I've used latex gloves before, even the "large" ones, I've ended up with little "half-gloves. " "fingers" and is unable to function fully. (You know what I'm talking about if you're a big guy. ) br>br>These are adequate. It was a tight squeeze to get the opening over my hammy hands, but the thickness holds up, and I like the tight wrap around my wrist; I almost forgot I was wearing them. br>br>I tried to order another box of 50 today, but it was too late. Every single one of them has vanished. That is the truth of the situation.
Recommendation: Do Not Recommend. The item was delivered in a bag with a broken, taped-up box. Too many of my shipments appear to have been resold as damaged. At this price, which I believe is exorbitant, they should at the very least arrive in good condition. So, a terrible price for a terrible item in a terrible state. I'm not going to buy anything else in the future!.
Strong and thick. This is my second box of outstanding gloves. These gloves are ideal for working on greasy automobiles. They're also useful for draining the black and grey water tanks when I'm camping. The long cuffs come in handy for this task. They've recently been used to paint the inside and outside of my storage shed. When I paint for long periods of time, my hands get wet, but they never tear. When it comes to preventing contamination on your hands, they are tough and durable. These aren't meant to be a replacement for leather gloves, which are designed to prevent abrasion, but they do the job well.
The additional cost is well worth it. These gloves are more expensive, but they last ten times longer because they can be removed and reused and do not tear. I take these off inside out and let them dry before putting them back on. All I have to do now is blow into the gloves to extend the fingers and they're good to go. Many other brands rip easily and are useless once you take them off for a break. I've used them for everything from painting to front-end development, and they've never let me down.
For the past 4 or 5 years, I've been wearing these gloves. I usually get them from Car Quest, but I thought I'd check Amazon to see if I could get them in larger quantities. They're well-made and substantial. I'm a surgeon, so dirt and abrasions are out of the question. I work on cars in my home shop on a regular basis, and we have a weekly car club that meets at my house, so we've tried a variety of gloves. I usually wear these without the use of mechanics gloves, but you can do so as well. They work best when they aren't exposed to a lot of solvents like brake cleaner or carb cleaner. This has the effect of weakening the material. If you don't wear them through after one wear, I frequently turn them inside out and hang them to dry. Then, turn them right side out, blow into the cuff to slightly inflate the fingers, and put them back on. I wear the XL size because my hands fit perfectly in a size 8 surgical glove, so I'm guessing these are cut too small. They're a little more expensive than the thinner ones, but they're well worth it because they deliver exactly what I need.
The only reason I don't think you'll like these gloves is if you can't stand wearing rubber gloves or if you order the wrong size; the size I order fits my hands perfectly, and I can wear them for hours before they tear or stretch out. This means I can work with small parts while wearing them, and while I don't think these gloves are rated the same as the "chemical gloves" I used to buy for three times the price, I work with solvents and oils all day and they hold up well. I've been ordering these for years (I guess I'm not a very good customer because it's taken me this long to write a review). This vendor was the first on Amazon with whom I placed repeat orders, and the packages were always well packaged and delivered on time.
I purchased the black SAS Raven gloves in a large size and they fit perfectly, but they were too short in length and easily broke while working on my car. As a result, I purchased these in X-large. Because of the thickness and much-needed extra length, I needed a large to protect more areas of my arms from harsh chemicals. They only take up a teeny-tiny amount of space (I'm guessing). 5 to 1 mm) in a few places, which I like because it's not noticeable when you're wearing them for long periods of time, and I think the slight extra fitment is beneficial. They slip on easily and quickly for a hassle-free fit, allowing me to get right to work instead of standing around frustrated while trying to put the gloves on. The gloves are also a dark blue, not the light blue I was seeing on my monitor from the box image.
