Questions & Answers
The blade is 7" long, which makes it a great fillet knife for trout or other small fish, and I like how flexible it is. The length of a knife's blade is used to determine its value.
It is adaptable, to be sure. It has the right amount of flexibility for filleting while remaining sturdy.
It is not supplied with a sheath. However, it's a fantastic fillet knife.

I own a dozen Victorinox(Forshner) knives, ranging from fillet to chef's knives, and swear by them. In the kitchen and at the fillet table, I've found that they're the best knife for the money. They are not only comfortable to use, but they also maintain an edge even when cutting through bones. I'd give most of them a five, but I believe this one is too weak for filleting most fish, based on my experience filleting hundreds of fish each year in Michigan and Florida. When I use a small amount of force to feel and ride on the bones while removing the fillets from the fish, the knife appears to bend excessively. However, it does an excellent job skinning the fish.
They are the best because they keep their sharpness for a long time, are versatile, and simple to use.
Other knives, over time, may show some separation at the metal-to-handle joints. This is not the case. There isn't a single thing I don't like about it. This knife is fantastic!.
They have a razor-sharp edge and are extremely durable. In addition, the cost is excellent. Because I am not a chef but rather a stay-at-home mom, these are perfect for me.
The handle has a good grip, which is useful when dealing with wet fish.
Knife has a razor-sharp edge and is extremely bendable. In the kitchen, this is one of our most popular knives.
