These aren't exactly high-end items. Without a doubt, the best knives. They arrived on time, have a cheap feel to them, and would not last long in a professional kitchen, but that is not their intended use. Mine didn't have much pizazz. If you know you're going to buy cheap knives, you might be fine with them, though I've bought several $7 knives from my local grocery store and they've been fantastic. These are only passable.

These fillet knives from the 400 series are made in Japan and measure 7" and 8" in length. On dexterrussellcutlery, to be precise. "Imported-" is written on the page. This product is not manufactured in the United States of America. " In any case, these are fantastic knives that look fantastic. Although it wasn't the sharpest right out of the box, a few passes on an Arkansas stone took care of that. And I, for one, would much rather have a Japanese-made imported knife.

These knives have nice handles. I have a larger knife from this company that stays sharp for a long time, which is great. It's easy to sharpen and handle, and I use it to cut off silver skin and remove meat from a bone.

I bought a sharpener from the same company as well as the knives, and they are actually better than I expected for the price. br>Several years ago, I spent a lot of money on knives. They must be returned to the company for sharpening when they become dull. I can now do it myself thanks to the sharpener I bought separately.

I bought these after seeing them recommended on a few YouTube channels. They're razor-sharp and deliver excellent results. We only used them on small fish. The only thing I wish it came with or could be purchased separately was a cover.
