As far as I know, you need Nora Fleming plates/platters to go These plates have slots for the charms that have rubber "spikes" on the bottom, and the plates are circular in shape.

What makes China the best place to manufacture them?

They may have workers over there, but I do not know for sure. As far as I know, I don't live
