There are three of them in the set. I thought it was expensive as well, but I bought it anyway because the plates matched. I was taken aback when I received three.

The price is for one platter, as stated in each seller's item description. The purpose of this photo of three is to demonstrate how easily they can be stacked.
I've never used mine in the oven; instead, I use it to serve food. Given that it was listed as a serving platter, I wasn't sure it could even go in the oven.

When we have a lot of food options to choose from, such as on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other holidays, we use it to bring food in from the grill, as a nacho plate, or as a dinner plate.
It's Corelle, which is still made in the United States, and it's the perfect size for a dinner plate. I'm a big guy, 265 pounds, so I need a big plate, and this one fits the bill, and it matches my wife's country cottage set, which she adores. Finally, these things are tough. They're made of tempered glass, which is laminated and tempered. I've seen them thrown across a room and not break, so forking tough!.

I got this one after my first one broke after being thrown across a ceramic tile floor (don't ask). It's a perfect match for my set, and it appears to be just as durable as the old one I'd had for 13 years. I will definitely purchase more Corelle and will never again have a ceramic tile floor in my kitchen.
I needed to restock my platters, so I went on the hunt. I had no idea I'd come across the same ones I had before. These are the ideal size to hold for arthritic hands. The platter's pattern is unpretentious but appealing. Microwaves, dishwashers, and casual get-togethers with large appetites necessitate the use of a larger plate. It's applicable to everyone. I also like Correle's light weight.
