My kids can sometimes get messy as I warm Mac and cheese for them, but this helps control the mess and it only takes a few seconds to clean As a second note, I even use it as a tablecloth when my kids aren't ready to sit at the table to keep flies away!.

It works great, but I would like to caution you

The steam containment feature in our microwave does an excellent job of containing messes, and it is very easy to clean up. Despite being soaked in tomato sauce, it did not stain. The condensation is too thick

As described, this cover is just like the one pictured. This cover fits over a plate like other covers do not, but I need one that allows more ventilation. Shipping was fast. The size is just right and the handle is a good size. allow moisture to escape while heating, as they have every hole on the outside of the cover. Despite the cover's appearance, there are only two holes on the top. Immediately after removing the cover after heating leftovers for one minute, I saw so much condensation that everything was dripping with water. Continuing to look is in my best interests.

A very disappointing replacement for my old model, which I had for years

I bought it to replace my old one, which was very hot in the microwave. As I see all the positive reviews, I regret to say that I have had a very different experience. I was expecting this to work

It keeps the walls of my microwave clean and I am so pleased I bought it with my new microwave. When the overflow collects on the bottom of the microwave, the glass gets dirty, but this is easily removed. There is something I would suggest, and that is to put silicon strips on the sides of the top handle. Especially if the cover is hot, this would make grabbing it easier.

I find it to be durable and effective

Over the years, I have used a smaller cover, but the height was so low that the bowl or plate did not fit Since this one sits higher over the plate or bowl, and has enough width to go around it, I chose There's no doubt that it will last for a long time. Splatter on the inside can be cleaned by gently wiping with a wet sponge pad with antibacterial liquid soap, rinsing it through, and letting it air dry on an upside down countertop.

When I do not need it, I often leave it on the counter or in the microwave oven. My vent is always open while I warm the food up, so I use that system all the time. As well, it's nice to be able to keep your heated up dish warm with the vent closed should you need to leave it over the stove.

Food does not bother us if it hits the top of this cover. It fits nicely over our dishes. There has been no warping from using a microwave or dishwasher. Due to its size, it takes up a large segment of the dishwasher, but it's better than having to clean the microwave.
We store ours in the microwave to prevent the counters from becoming.
