Questions & Answers
I use mine to pour paint, and it works great with double-sided tape, blue tack, or lol take. I've tried it before without it, but the canvas has blown away on a couple of occasions. It's better to use the adhesive; I love the product and would buy it again in a heartbeat!
There is no information on this product that indicates where it was made.
There is no lock feature that I can see.
I don't put it in the dishwasher; I wash it by hand. It's most likely dishwasher safe.

This was purchased for the purpose of POUR PAINTING. I had previously used two other spinners and was constantly having issues with the canvases flying away! I decided to experiment with a higher-quality spinner. I'm glad I took the chance! br>br>Before I started painting, I put several different products on it (ceramic tiles, different size canvases) and was completely blown away by the stability and quality of this product. After that, I gave them a few major spins. I was completely taken aback. There's something about the spin mechanism's balance that I really like. This will have a significant impact on my artistic output. br>br>To put this in context, the first spinner I used (purchased from Amazon) resembled a flat pancake and cost less than $12. Until the substrates flew off the spinner, I thought I'd gotten a good deal. What a disaster. Then I experimented with a Lowe's turntable mechanism. Perhaps I could make my own spinner, I reasoned. NOT ! There isn't much of a difference between this one and the first. br>br>So, after a few months, I decided to take the plunge and try a high-intensity interval training program. I'd get a good one and return it if I didn't like it. This spinner appealed to me because it came with some useful tools. If you paint, you'll notice that the tools have a bent handle, just like pallet knives. There are also some cake decorating tools made of plastic. These will be used to spread basecoat on canvases, adjust paint pillows, and other tasks. br>br>I ordered disposable shower caps to go over the top so I wouldn't have to worry about getting paint on this lovely surface. I also realized that I could use aluminum foil to cover it. br>br>It's unusual for me to write such a glowing review. However, this is a fantastic product, and I'm so glad I took a chance on it! I'm not sure how well this would work with cakes, but it's fantastic for painting. 👍😀.
This cake turner is one of my favorites. I had no idea it could be locked. This isn't a flimsy, squeaky cake turner. You are going to enjoy yourself.
I really like how smoothly this table spins. It cut down on the time it took to smooth the cakes. However, it may cause some issues when decorating and you need it to be still because it spins with the slightest touch, but that is why I purchased it. I debated whether or not to buy it because of the complaint in other reviews, but I'm glad I did. It's simple to clean, sturdy, and has a good weight.
As a result, I was able to accomplish my goal. It's not perfect (though my granddaughter thought it was because she was so proud of it), but it's a good start. I was in such a hurry that I didn't read the directions, so I'm not sure if there's a lock feature, but I'll look for it next time; it's a great quality addition to my baking and decorating arsenal.
There were grooves on the top of the cake that kept it 'glued' to the wheel and prevented it from moving out of the center. The plastic tools for smoothing out the cake, on the other hand, are a little too flimsy, but they still work if you bend them carefully. Overall, I had a great time with this product and would recommend it to anyone who is unsure about it. Despite the grooves in the wheel, it was a lot of fun to play and clean.
" br>On the contrary, it has a solid and heavy bottom, and the turn plate is heavy enough to spin quickly!br>Highly recommended for whatever you plan to use it for! br>The Turntable and all of the tools are an incredible value! Thank you very much!.
I've owned three other turntables, and this one is the heaviest and most solid of them all. It was a bargain, but it's a fantastic stand that spins smoothly and doesn't move or slide.
The stand is hefty, and the top has multiple rings etched into the surface to grip the cake and provide guidelines for keeping your frosting rounded and smooth. There is no lock on this, but you can secure it with a rubber band. The accessories are adequate, but not stainless, as the offset spatulas have begun to rust after only a few uses. I don't mind because I was only buying it for the stand, and I got it on a flash sale, which made it cheaper to buy than other models. If anyone else is interested, it also makes a pleasant noise when you strike it.
