Glass Domed Serving Plate for Confectionery and Baked Goods - Bronze

This is my second review of this product, and I'm not sure how to connect it to the first. My first review was less favorable because the dome's size was about 1/4 inch smaller than what was listed in the description, which was important to me because I needed an exact size, and I complained about it in my review. I didn't ask for a refund, and I certainly didn't expect one. However, a day after I submitted my review, I received notification of a full refund with no questions asked. As a result, I'm feeling compelled to write this follow-up review. The tray is galvanized metal artsy-style, and the product I received was of good quality. rustic- The dome is made of thick glass, and everything was packaged nicely. But it is the company's integrity that has impressed me the most. Clearly, they are concerned about their customers' satisfaction with their purchases. I plan to use the tray and dome, and I'm excited to fill it with cheese and crackers. When I look at it, I'll think to myself, "Wow, that company really stepped up and impressed me!".

I've only used it once since buying it, but I'm already in love! My bundt cake, which was 9 1/2 inches in diameter, fit perfectly. For Father's Day, I bought it and made a half-Samoan, half-German chocolate cake for him. My parents' kitchen looks great with the rustic look.

The plate can be flipped over for a more pedestal-like appearance and a lower lip for displaying treats. I also like how long the treats last under the dome. My children enjoy it so much that we now make cookies or cupcakes almost every weekend.

This was purchased in order to keep baked goods fresh, clean, visible, and ready to serve on my kitchen counter. I used to bake something and then wrap it in foil or plastic wrap to keep it fresh. Each time a piece was desired, it had to be unwrapped and then rewrapped. It would become stale if it was not properly wrapped. My family wouldn't eat it if it was wrapped in foil because they couldn't see it. This way, everyone can help themselves to the cake/muffins/cookies that are conveniently located on my kitchen counter! Instead of a messy lump of something wrapped in wrinkled foil or other wrap on my counter, the food stays fresh for much longer and is more appealing. It's also attractive enough to serve at a dinner party! This is fantastic!.

  First and foremost, let me state that this is adorable, reasonably priced, and the exact size I needed. I was overjoyed when I discovered it, placed an order for it, and received it. Even though it wasn't a top-of-the-line item, it was well-packaged and arrived quickly. The issue is as follows: br>br> The dome is so tightly pressed against the platter that it is impossible to remove without using force. I'm concerned that the dome will crack as a result of the tremendous force. br>br>I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but function is crucial, as I wasn't planning on using this for decoration.

I'm going to put it to the test this week for my needs, but it's a high-quality item that arrived safely packaged. I like how the lid is secure and hefty, and I'm hoping that it will not only keep my items from drying out as quickly, but also deter kids from using my samples as a buffet. I believe they will inquire as to whether or not there is a lid. I can't always stop them if I'm helping a customer, but it'd be great if parents would keep an eye on their children and teach them proper manners. That, however, is a separate issue! It's perfect for my needs, and I wouldn't hesitate to use it at home!.

A smaller covered dessert plate in a BRONZE tone to match a bronze/copper backsplash was specifically requested. Most bronze tone dessert plates are much more expensive, but this item was PERFECT for my coffee bar display in terms of size and color. Another customer suggested that stating that items could be displayed on either side of the plate was a "stretch," but I disagree. The bronze plate has a thin lip on both the top and bottom so that items can be displayed on either side and the glass dome can be secured (see my photos for BOTH displays). Despite a problem with the seller's "hybrid" mailing system (shipper's tracking declared the package "delivered" even though it was delivered to the WRONG address), the seller graciously offered to resend the item and was quick to respond to our concerns. At a great price, this is a fantastic product.

This is fantastic. This isn't the place to go if you're looking for a heavy plate or a glass dome. However, it's lovely and light, and it goes well with cookies, layer cakes, and bundt cakes. I am very pleased with my purchase, which was so well packaged that there was no risk of it breaking.
