Honestly, I can't use them for cakes like mine, which are probably just two inches in diameter. A layer cake has several layers. To be able to receive the support I need, I will have to combine two or three. In my opinion, they should not advertise the use of these boards for cakes. If they are meant to be used for pizza, then these boards would be ideal.

The images of the product are confusing because they have two different cartons, one smooth and one chunky, and you don't know which one you purchased until it arrives, and of course you are given the one with shells that does not end the same way.

They are definitely not grease proof. I used these to make a cake. Although I was expecting it to be easy to wipe, I found it to be very thin and When it comes to conventional type, you can support a cake with two. With the unusual type, three or more is needed. Having opened the package now it's too late to return it. I wish I had opened it earlier.

To use approximately one pound of flour for each cake. To see if they could collapse under the pressure of a very heavy box after they were covered with rubber, four boards were placed under that box.

My sourdough breads, cakes, and other baked goods taste wonderful with this bread. Together with the cake boxes they make a good combination.

They are coated, and I like that. They all came bended, so I had to use a wire brush to clean them. (Decorating cakes is really irritating.
