Can they be as strong as they claim? Why is it made from that material? It looks like a simple piece of cardboard, is it not?

Amount of weight it can carry is approximately 7 lbs. It's made of card board. My mom asked me to take it to her house without weighing it first. 3 round 8 inch cakes were placed on that cake card board. The cake did not have any supports.

Can you tell me where these are ?

It's my fault- Having removed the product from the original packing, there is no marking on it.

In what way does "(25 pieces of each size)" clarify this? As far as I can tell, there are 25 pieces, each with a diameter of 10 inches. ?

Within an order there are 25 items of only one size. You get 25 copies of 10" if you order 10 You get 25 12" if you order 25 of them. I received something that was a mix of sizes, but in my case it was not.

Would I need to get a 9" cake board or will it fit in a 10" box?

At their biggest point, each of these boards has a diameter of 10". Recognize that most boxes, storage containers, and crates are measured at their largest dimensions, which is the outside dimension. Boards will fit snugly in a box with an inside diameter of 10".

Although the cake boards were super thin and the edges were raw, I was quite disappointed with their quality for the price

There was just enough corrugation to make it look like it was cut out of corrugated cardboard. The plates served me well for a three-layer cake measuring 6" in diameter. As of yet, I haven't tested this on 8" or 10" cakes. Even though the board's edges are a little shaky, it is sturdy enough to withstand any heavy lifting. Due to the fact that I had run out, I ordered these as a last resort, but I probably wouldn't use these again just because I feel as if the quality.

I think 8inch rounds are better than 10inch ones

Although it says it fits 10 inches, it's actually not for that size. The diameter of the rounds is more like a 9 in. A round 8 inches in diameter would be more appropriate. There won't be any more issues with dowels and straws if you use this method! I was able to make 3 layers of 8 inch cakes without any problems! The cake boards I have reviewed are excellent.

A 10 inch screen is not as much larger as an 8 inch screen

There are not 10 inch rounds in this collection. Perhaps they should be used for a 14 inch cake since they are quite large. My 12 in h round is larger than my 12 in h round. Although they are sturdy, they are lightweight.

I just received my Christmas cake delivery on time. A 3 layered cake could be made in the same way, but I am not sure if a 2-tier cake could be made in the same way. In the past, I've recommended these boards to friends who are into home baking.

Not meant to hold more than one layer at any one time. My family used this product to make cakes during the holidays for other friends, so I used it for other friends during the holidays as well. As I found out, this cake board is not as strong as a regular cake board. To securely hold 3 layers, it must have a screwdriver This cake board is sturdy, so I taped the regular cake board to it.
