The funnel would have been useless for me for this exact reason. In this case, it was just simpler to pour the spice from one jar directly into the new one. My intent is to keep the funnel and use it for chunkier items that are not powders.
Whenever I use a lid or jar, I wipe it down in order to clean it. It has never occurred to me to submerge them in water while the sticker is still attached.

There is a thin layer of a material I am not familiar with lining the inside of the lid. A look at the piece of paper confirms that it's not paper. The padding looks a bit like very thin foam. Also, there is an inner lid that is plastic and holds a shaker.

Having mismatched spice containers and jars that were filled with my large spice collection, I ordered 36 jars to bring some sense of order to my collection. In order to keep it open so that I could easily access my spices and keep the kitchen tidy, I wanted them to be arranged on open shelves. If you use white labels instead of clear ones, you'll be able to distinguish them from each other. Likewise, the other black labels in the package are beautiful and perfectly crafted as well.
I'm glad I bought these! They're well made, sturdy, and look great. There are a lot of options available on the labels, with general names for seasonings like "chicken seasoning" which are perfect if you are planning to make your own blend of seasonings. addition, but when done all at once it became more of a hassle than it was worth using since I had to wash and let it dry before I could use it, but if you are only doing one bottle, then it is a nice idea.
