It would be improper to use our glass bottles for fermenting liquid within, as a result of their design and the type of glass used. Besides having a nice shape, the bottles come with a brush and a Although, I did not realize that the narrow neck would affect the behavior of the wash No matter how often I put them through the sterilization cycle in the washing machine, or how often I heat the drying cycle, these bottles cannot be dried. The insides of them are always moist. In order for them to be dry, I have to put them in my oven on a low heat (150 F) for 35 minutes I spent about 40 minutes on that. It really would be nice if I didn't have to go through all that.
My home-made limoncello will be bottled in these. My only hope is that I can get people to return the empty bottles so I can reuse the bottles. The shape, sturdiness and ceramic/rubber stopper are fantastic. This is the second time I've bought them.
I'm very happy with these bottles and I would recommend them to anyone. It should also be noted that the lids are made of cheap plastic and the glass is filled with many tiny bubbles and black inclusions. While they aren't perfect, I am very pleased with them based on the low price and the cool shape.
During the Christmas season, I bought these bottles of apple pie infused vodka as gifts for my family and friends. Unique in style and reasonably priced for a case of twelve, these bottles were a great buy. Foam was wrapped around each bottle when they arrived and they arrived quickly. It was unfortunate that two arrived with broken chips in the top of the bottles. After contacting customer service, they responded within a very short timeframe. The replacements were to be sent out and I would get them a week later. It took me two days to receive them! Bubble wrap and an envelope were used to wrap these. There was no breakage among my bottles when I washed them, and mine dried well. After leaving them on the drying rack overnight, they were still dry the next day. Filling bottles is a great way to make them look nice. Gold markers add a nice touch, but are difficult to read since the liquor is the same hue as the gold. The caps are sturdy and it was not difficult to open or close My only complaint is that the rubber gasket on the stopper is not as good as some other bottles that I have previously purchased. All in all, these bottles are a good buy.
Homemade Vanilla for Christmas gifts is what I will be making with them. I'm impressed with how well it's working out. The jars were filled with high quality organic Madagascar Vanilla Beans I purchased from Amazon.
It was important for me to have an 8 ounce container with a flip top so I bought these. It is more common for flip tops to be larger. Since I wanted to try some things with rum and bourbon as well as vodka in addition to these, these were ideal for making vanilla. I didn't want to make huge bottles of vanilla because I wanted to make some with rum and some with bourbon. I would have needed many more vanilla beans if I had used larger bottles There are plenty of them, and they're expensive too! I gave a few extras to my son's girlfriend, and she made blueberry simple syrup with them. My thoughts are that I might do the same with the remaining extras.

This funnel and a marking pen were a nice addition - sturdy and easy to use My planned hostess gifts could not have been easier to make with this. In order to seal the bottle, the metal piece needs to be lowered, but it is extremely difficult to close it - and equally difficult to reopen it. It was impossible for me to open or close them, but my husband eventually managed to do it. This is not a gift I would give to someone who doesn't have a really solid.
They arrived on time, were well packaged, and did exactly what they were supposed to do. This bottle is very different from the ordinary ones. For some reason, I have trouble opening this type of bottle with arthritis, but with this one I can handle it in no problem. I like the shape of it, it's just not your average I have noticed that when I give my friends a taste of my home-made kombucha, they admire the bottles before they even pop one open.
